My '06 Element was built at Marysville. I still have it, and it has 305,000 miles. My wife's '09 Accord was built there, and it's well over 100,000 miles. Thanks to each and every worker / technician, and thanks to the the people who designed such bulletproof vehicles. We're a Honda family forever.

@@marleneochoa704 I'm sad to say that I sold my beloved Element a while back. I did so only because a 2010 Accord practically fell into my lap, and it had only 50,000 miles. The Element had 309,000 when it rolled out of my driveway for the last time. I wish KZbin would let me post photos, because with that many miles, it still looked brand new. I miss my Element. I really do.

I work at carvana and Honda shows up as the last car people wanna trade. That says a lot! Honda cars are manufactured with longevity in mind it's amazing how far they have come in such a short amount of time. I'll have to keep an eye out for vins from this factory.... amazing!

Thanks, my Accord just hit 100,000 miles. ZERO problems. Replaced the tires at 70,000 and wiper blades. I made an appointment to have my Fiesta repaired the day I got it. And then it got worse! Do you remember the day you made the one with the six speed manual, that was mine!

@@remywilson3256 It’s not too bad actually. This is the first job I ever had where I actually feel like the company really cares for their people. The work is a little intense at first especially if you’re not used to labor work. But they do such a great job easing you into the work. The people here are the best part of the job. Very friendly, smart, and they’re willing to help. I can see myself retiring here at this rate. I would recommend trying this job out. Sorry for the late response. I don’t get notified when someone comments on my stuff.

@@Mister_Belvidere I worked at Honda and yes there is. The color white is because no uniform should be dirty. If it is, its a sign that there is a potential problem in the line. Plus it ensures you are ontime for work. You wake up and put on the Honda whites, no time wasted in picking out an outfit. Aside from the clean aspect, Honda mantra is "respect for the individual" this means temps and contract workers all wear whites, even the plant managers and office employees! Point here is treat everyone the same, and we all wear the Honda whites.

The uniforms make the employee look on point and professional.I’ve watched some other videos from other manufacturers and the employees looked like they just rolled out of bed.I think it helps build a better car somehow.

mrcarlo1966 I work for Honda’s car part supplier . We basically do molded injected parts , painted parts , and the final assembled parts for all the Honda plants around the world . It seems like if you work for Honda you wear the same white work clothes . I have the same outfits but with different patches on it .

I've taken a tour of the Nissan plant and of the Corvette plant...one difference is the white overalls at Honda. Is this still the case? I know Nissan is not union but Corvette is.

They build them in batches (multiples of 30 in the plant where I worked). Each car in a batch is identical in terms of color, options, powertrain, etc.

My 07 is getting up in miles, though my local dealer has given me some loaners which give me faith in the 2018+ Accord. I would probably get a 2.0 to replace my 2007 Accord when I upgrade in 2023/24.

@ So strange how cars differ. My father's 03 V6 needed transmission rebuilt at 261,000 miles. He loves that car so much he had it rebuilt. Sitting at 295,000 miles. I guess its how you treat it and maintain it too.

Based on their amazing record of reliability I would have to say yes. Top Notch cars. I have owned and driven hundreds of different makes and manufactures. I get two rental cars a month for work for the past 5 years . Once you drive a Honda you will never own anything else.
