Honda Accord Radio Code Bypass (simple)

Then a really weird thing happened: it spit a CD out and the radio and everything has been working find ever since. That was the ONE time anything went right in life!

Guys enter the info on the honda page online.. for me ,the first round of numbers it gave couldn't be cause it had an 8 and 9 and the radio only has 1-6 . So I re entered the info,serial number and vin. And it gave me another code. Which worked. Should work for everyone. Goodluck

Or if you know the code you can 1. either disconnect the positive cord from you battery and wait two to three minutes hook everything up and enter the code! Or Find the Fuse fro the radio take it out for 2 to 3 minutes put it back in, and use the code! Works every time! Don't need to do it again! As long as you have the code to put in the radio!

The glove compartment only if dealer put it there. It doesn't from factory and many dealers don't put the code in glove compartment so a solution for some but not others.

Enter information on the Honda page . If code possibilities aren't the first ones, re enter the info and it will give you a different number. Worked for me today

Yeah I'm also in the same dilemma as you, I entered the wrong code too many times and the error message won't go away. I'll try disconnecting the car battery again, may be that would revert the display to where it would allow me to enter the code again. Since I have the right code now.

That was the actual code for that model. And 8-digit number, you just drop the U and the L.

This is only a temporary bypass. Each car has its own code and it’ll usually be on the side of the glovebox when you open it. If not, check the glovebox for a code or in my case, the pervious owners wrote it down in the manual. If you can’t find it then just call the Honda dealership.
