Honda Acty wheel swap. Custom work for a surprise delivery

In this episode we swap and paint the wheels on a Honda acty to surprise customize it for a school grounds keeper/maintenance man. Making use of my new tripod.

Thanks this was an Aluma 6812h BT. 68 inches wide and 12' long. The gate was a bi-fold tilt, and could lay flat when trailering empty, to reduce drag. I sold it a few months ago, as I've upgraded to a 20' Aluma with tandem axle. I can fit 2 minitrucks on the 20' trailer. Highly recommend Aluma trailers.

Hello. Since the hub doesn't have a lip to catch the wheel's 56.1mm wheel hub, does lug centric as opposed to hub centric mounting sufficient for balancing? Any wobbling issues? I have mounted wheel spacers and noticed this issue with the hub. Wheel spacers are hubcentric with lip to wheel but hub has no lip for spacers....any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks! I've not had any issues. I thought the same thing about the spacers, as I use them with turf tires. No issues.

@@USMiniTrucks i had a nightmare of a time with wobble so i ended up removing the front 25mm spacers altogether and leaving only rears. Sadly I learned the hard way my particular 14"rim and 185's rub at the coil wo spacers so I had to downsize to 155/80 to keep overall diameter comparable to rear 185/70...lesson learned.

@@GubuZ06 did you have to use spacers in rear with 185? I know it’s been a while but I’m picking up some civic rims that have 185/65 ire’s and was hoping to not run spacers. Thanks for help

Do you think a roof tent would work with this vehicle? Or would it be too top heavy?

I see quite a few of them in Japan with little canvas Tops on them, should be fine.

4x100. Stock are 12x3.5, I've got others at 12x4.

You can use the rear axle.
