Honda ADV350 2022 - Test ride (top speed, commuting and dodging traffic)

This makes me so sad that Honda refuses to market the 350 OR the X-ADV 750 here in the states!! I have a 2022 ADV150 & Honda is supposed to release the 160 next year here…but still. I’ve outgrown my 150 to the point where I really need the power & capabilities of at LEAST the 350! The 150’s sell like hotcakes here in the Southern US-it took me 3wks to track one down that hadn’t been sold! I’m 155lbs & can reach 63mph with some effort, but I want it to be effortless 😆 the 350 is what I need!! Loving this ❤️

Yeah, the USA is no market for maxi-scooters, unfortunately. You guys are missing out. And you can't lane-split outside of CA! Kind of a shame, if you ask me. That's why I'm excited to move back to Europe (been living in the Midwest for the past 8 years). As soon as I'm back in Europe, I'm most likely getting this Honda ADV 350. It will be a breath of fresh air coming from my Harley Iron 883.

In the same boat 100%. I’m in Detroit and ppl do 60 on the big streets I need a little bit more power but don’t want the NC750…. Hopefully in a couple years they will bring the 350 over.

buy the 350 its more power it has traction control its more fun to drive the adv150 is under power at 14hp i had and sold it after 5k kms.

@@xdx2653 σε θυμάμαι από τα βίντεο για το xmax θυμάμαι το έψαχνες πολυ σαν εμένα και δεν ήξερες τι να κάνεις αλλά υποστηριζες πολύ παραπάνω το yamaha .. Και εγωωτα ίδια ήμουν φιλε είχα όνειρο να πάρω το xmax και τώρα που βγήκε το καινούργιο και άλλαξε όλη την μούρη τα φανάρια και το πλάι ξενέρωσα λίγο και την έψαξα για το τι άλλο θα μπορούσα να αγοράσω... Πήγα το έκανα τεστ ride και το xmax και το adv και η αλήθεια είναι ότι το xmax είναι οικονομικό και έτσι αλλά το adv είναι φάσματος ρε φίλε... διασκεδάζεις και μόνο που το οδηγείς... Εσύ τελικά τι αποφάσισες; Ποιο θα πάρεις;

Hey! I can't really tell you 100% sure that one is better than the other, I think they're pretty close honestly. Eventually if I had to pick one, I'd pick the ADV because I think it is a bit more versatile than the Xmax. On the other hand, the X max consumes a bit less fuel and is a bit lighter, it could make some difference for the daily city riding, depending on one's experience and riding spirit. My advice is to test both bikes and see which one feels better for you. The riding will give you that decision ;)

@@cebubesthomefinder my pesonal opinion is that the xmax looks way better than adv,less consumes and its way better for long distanse travels.BUT the adv is fresh new bike meanwhile yamaha keeps the xmax the same for 5-6 years and as i learned the 23 model will be the same again.also the adv have better suspensions and its more fun to ride. i have the same dilima tho 🤣🤣

I've tested both. X-max is less comfortable for tall riders. If u are above 180, x-max is not for u. Yamaha seat logo stamped my back - I tested techmax edition. Xmax will be better for short distance riding - slightly smaller consumption, narrow stearing bar, lighter. But x-max style is so outdated.

@@podunkman2709 well iam 187 cm but i found adv less comfortable than xmax.i think the adv pushing you more to the stearing bar than xmax.right now i have the nmax 155 2021 model and is way more comfortable comparing to xmax and adv,but i want bigger engine 😒😒

Hey! In my opinion (and I just had this bike for one day) it is perfectly capable and comfortable enough to travel at 100 - 120 km per hour. Above 120 / 130 kph, I could tell the bike was starting to struggle to keep the balance between pace and stability. It can go up to 150 kph, but I do not recommend commuting for long periods above 130 kph, because of the stability feeling. But great bike overall 😁

Hi! I don't think it has. If it did have, it was not activated and I didn't realize honestly

@@mike_2366 It is equipped with a sophisticated system of Idle Stop which when enabled, automatically stops the engine running after 3 seconds at idle and re starts it instantly when the throttle grip is twisted. It is fitted with the Honda Smart Key System. I pray it does haha i'm considering this bike. Thanks for the video :D

Hello Ivan! Sorry for the late reply, I think you should be fine with this bike, this is not an average scooter, if I'm not wrong, the bike itself weighs around 190 kg, which will help you to get a good stability despite your weight. Eventually, the bike may take longer to achieve its top speed, but otherwise, you'll be fine with this bike to ride it around town. Hope it helps, cheers brother
