You are coming out with great content, with very concise information. You break it down into non technical terms That most anyone can understand.

Thank you Mike. I know I'm not a professional at it so if I can put it into terms i understand then most people should be able to understand it. I don't know if you seen the other comments but this was by far the hardest tutorial I've done so far.

Your channel is turning into a very good tech channel for motorcycle repair all around. I would guess that the Africa Twin community is happy to have such a good resource at their disposal. This was really interesting to watch. Keep 'em comin"!

Thank you. Everyone in the group seems to like the videos so far so I think I'm a good asset to them. I also try to be active on the group not just posting the videos so they don't think I'm there just for views like people sometimes uses those groups for.

@@theadventurousrider It's always good to see when things don't pan out like you want at first that you just stick to it and it eventually works out like you wanted it to. I know how frustrated that must have been when the coils were not firing after all the work, but you stuck to it and the work paid off. Who knows WHY electricity does what it does sometimes! It has a mind of its own! I'm glad that it worked out in the end. Thanks for editing out when you were snatching all the hair out of your head when it didn't fire at first! :)

@@tommylitchfield3450 hahaha yea like no joke I went back checking everything and even lost the 200vdc that I had going to the coils. I wish the book would have told me somewhat what the voltage was supposed to be also coming off the pickup coils as that would have helped me out a lot. I think it's several k vac but there is no consistency to what I was getting so I didn't include it.

@@theadventurousrider Sometimes, digital multimeters have a mind of their own, too. I have gotten "bad" readings before and wanted to yank out MY hair, but then when I checked a known, good voltage and still had a wrong or inconsistent reading, I turned my meter off and on a couple of times and it read right. That wasn't your case with the spark tester, but I think you probably know what I mean.

The wires you mentioned at about 13:40 I believe is for your rectifier. It's a common problem for the wires to get really hot, and then the plugs is melting. Maybe it has happened to previous owner or he just removed the plugs as a precaution. Great video 🤘 Best regards Morten from Denmark

Thank you for the insight. Here lately on one of the AT pages on FB, I have been seeing the results you are talking about. I guess it's a good thing I haven't tired to go back to the OEM plug there. Thank you for watching there in Denmark.

You are correct. I think me and another fellow xrv owner finally came up that it's a mad hornet brand? It doesn't have any name just numbers and when you search those numbers it's coming up with their brand. Aloy of people use MOSFET
