Honda started including the filter in newer Amaze

My Dad has removed the whole filter and the blower assembly, modified the A-star cabin filter(Rs 395) and fitted in the space provided with the aid of hot glue silicon gun. This arrangement would not allow the dust to get past the annular space in between the filter housing and the cabin filter edges. He has posted your video's link in the Honda Amaze Fan Club on the FB.

what is the model number of th BOSCH Cabin air filter that fits the Honda Amaze? Is it HEPA and Carbon Filter?

The one which I used earlier was carbon filter. Don't remember the model/size. But it was same size that of Honda city.

seriously ??....it is not so expensive i suppose (How much does it cost? ) ...why would a company take such a stupid decision...as i had dust coming many times..even some times some leaves stuck in blower and making sound ...

@@pulkitrock companies resort to such measures many times. For example- many honda and hero bikes don't have a engine kill switch. It costs around 100-200 bucks. But they still don't give it. These measures help the companies improve their profit margins

That is correct. I'd did not capture that part in video. I have sold that car now :). Its just open the dash and squeeze from both sides. Plastic is flexible for that piece

This was Gen 1 honda amaze. May be they have added a filter in later generations of amaze. If provided/not provided try to find out the size by sliding in a paper and tear it at edges. The search in Amazon with the word cabin filter and see if the dimension matches

@@MDboy5-o2k please add the filter, it will prevent dust getting into to evaporator /blower. Since it gets cold, moisture forms and dust gets sticky on the surface which will become acidic. Chances are it will rust and puncture the gas pipe leading to gas leakage. Otherwise also it will help prevent bacteria growth. Dont know why Honda is doing these type cost cutting

Kishor Bhujbal it depends on the type of cabin filter. With activated carbon Bosch filter costs around 1500. Normal cabin filter is just 500 available in amazon

Rahul Raniwala Previous generation amaze does not come with a cabin filter installed from factory. That's why I had to install it

This is wrong method. Dont follow this method it will spoil your a/c vents .Cut the cabin is not good idea.

I am cutting the air intake area to make a slot. Higher variants have the same spot as a removable hatch. Lower variants do not have it, so we have to cut and put it back. Also air vents are the one you see when you sit inside cabin through which cold air is coming out. Please do not comment unless you know what you are talking about
