some of the other Hondas had holes and everything there just have to remove the plate but not for the 5th gen Prelude.

I was going to look to buy a 2000 civic coupe with the 5 speed but I think buying an automatic is better because they are better well kept. Then I'd do the swap myself.

I have a 5th gen prelude auto that I want to convert to manual. What transmission will work for the swap? Someone told me an accord tranny would work but it doesn't rev as high so it would interfere with my vtech

If you use your template to cut a piece of 1/4" steel plate, then you don't have to cut it out of a manual car.

So what kind of money are we talking to do this swap? I've been looking for a reason to do a manual swap in my '05 Ody, and with my wife forgetting to mention noticing the tranny slipping the other day & then me getting her real hot during stop & go rush hour traffic I think it's time for a transmission rebuild or do something fun & make me happy & that is a manual swap.

Doin this exactly swap , except I’m using a oem master cylinder and my question is , how would you setup it up with normal prelude master cylinder? I’ve seen the spacers that are tack welded ,but honestly they look a lot bigger than 1/4 inch , and I know there’s no spacer on the other side , I have the pedal against the firewall tight so I could mark the top hole but don’t want to drill unless I know the exact spacer size, lmk bro any help is appreciated !

My 1993 Honda del sol S was Auto to Manual swap. And the shifter is too far forward. I have a D series engine and trans, and im using a D series Shift linkage. Anybody have an idea how to fix this issue?

This does not answer the fitting to the crank output shaft, transmission extension housing to the driveshaft nor the sensors to control unit. I sense you are not giving us the rest of the story.

A Human from Dimension C138 you can swap any car to manual :) just look up a thread. I'm not good with BMW but I'd rather just buy a manual version because European cars are harder to work on

AFAIK older BMWs are easier to swap from auto to manual because the holes are already there from factory
