@@monkeyroo8740Never heard of a ‘Caren’ over here (U.S.). Looked it up online and saw where a company converted them into a microcar called a ‘CydesCar URI-II’. It was a 3-wheeled contraption with a plastic shed-like enclosure, with the 3rd wheel on the left side. Crazy looking but you didn’t need rain gear to stay dry!!

@@monkeyroo8740 I checked out the ‘Nippi’ online and actually think they are quite nice. I would’ve liked to have had one of them when I needed to use a wheelchair after a car wreck that left me with a broken left femur and fractured right ankle.

In 1988 when i was 15 i got a honda express 50cc on a V reg for £25 got it on the road on my 16th Birthday Loved It. 30Mph Top End I Had Mates Taking The Piss Until It Was On The Road Then They Wanted One. After That I Had Suzuki Er50 And Then A Yamaha Ar80 .Great Times.

Hiya bud, yeah they were great times. I had a c70 when I was 16, but put a 50 badge on it. Lol People used to take the wee wee out of me, yet now when I ride a c50. Nothing but respect from everyone. They great bikes.

Nice find, in the states is marketed as a Honda express sr. There aren’t too many of them around at least in my part of the world. Good luck with it, and I hope you get it as nice as your other bikes cheers.

Hiya bud..fair doos I didn't know that cheers. There's a few over there that are called different. Honda spree, honda aero 50. Etc... over here they are called honda melody and honda vision. I'll have to pop over one day .

Big tip to clean rust soapy brillo pads in hot soapy water ive cleaned hundreds of bikes using them its works dont even scratch❤

@@monkeyroo8740 hi pal i bought a suzuki CS 50.of a friend she said it wont run even although she took it to a motor bike shop i tryed everything to get it running no joy i left it till the next day i took the carb off which was not easy as there is not much room to get to it you know the needle inside the carb had a slight bend in it i got another needle put it all back together pressed the electric start a hey presto it started i am surprised the garage did not notice that

@@thomaspenman4101 hiya buddy, yeah they nice little scoots them roadies. I know the feeling about tbe carbs, the caren was a bugger to get off. Well done for spotting the bent needle, and yeap I'm suprised the garage didn't notice that. Are you going to be out and about on it now bud?

How do you get you exhaust to clear up? I have an NH80 that was a barb find. Runs pretty well but smokes like crazy from old oil in the exhaust. What do you do?

Hiya buddy, what I've done I the past is either pour a little petrol down the pipe and burn it out (in a safe place) or soaked it in costic cleaner over night.
