I still feels honda cb300R is better bike overall than Speed 400. Of course that depends on ur liking, taste and use. However after launch of ktm duke 250 2023, i am not sure if cb300R is is better bike. New ktm duke seems more refined ,calmer and more practical than cb300R. Speed 400 is more powerful but I think its not always about power and displacement. Handling is very important aspect and thats where duke 250 and cb300R comes ahead of segment king speed 400.

Yes you are absolutely spot on. New duke250 is way more VFM than this. Honda should have cut the price a bit more like 25k then it will be sold like hell. Also sagar explained the same in his review and criticized its breaking due to poor quality tyres. They used to give michelline but now downgraded to MRF.

Bro i own a triumph speed 400 .. i just want to ask you have you ever rode a Speed400 ..? If You haven't then you just don't know but yeah the maintenance cost Is little more than other bikes

@@amalpbenny7048 Already done But I don't think there's a clear cut answer for that. As much as people do like to say "don't buy 300cc+ if you care about mileage" but it does matter I feel. Review of course can't cover that. Tyres, I agree. Braking I found fine in the test ride unit I took.

Believe me I have researched about all bikes and the most refined engines come from Honda according to bike riders from all genre. They all love honda. The least complains I heared about any bike or car was from honda. I was going to buy a super meteor 650 but then I thought more practically and now I want a Honda bike. I don't want to visit guarage often.

Yes they can ride in city for short distance but long rides are not much comfortable for pillion.

I am too much confused between triumph and cb300r . Both have their share of pros and cons . Speed 400 pros- New looks , brand value , features , single comfortable seat Cons- Bad service network and quality , lots of bugs , many people facing issues , less reliable, more vibrations. CB-300R pros - superb engine , light weight , less heating issues , very reliable , Honda,s Trust , more fun to ride. Cons - old and dated design as it’s an old bike, less comfortable for pillion, less electronics and less features. What should I go for ?

@@adityap1878 honestly speaking- i m nt a mileage person bro.. i bot ths only for performance.. however, d MID shows 29-30 kmpl, so if u ride it not so aggressively u shd surely get in excess of 30 kmpl… i think only once I derived d tank to tank mileage and it came to arnd 28 kmpl (ws in d early days when it ws new)

I like the speed 400 in this segment more but triumph showroom availability are the biggest problem here and the bike seems small look wise even it is very good fit and finish far better than cb300r. If it was a little muscular and had no service and showroom problem it would have been the best bike in this segment

I dont ride fast so head light brightness will be enough. I dont do cornering at high speeds on city roads so the tyres are fine for me initially, after wearing them out, I'll replace with better profile and grip tyres. I dont need the bike to have bluetooth features or big display. I just want to enjoy the feel of the bike. The only thing I want the bike to have better components is brakes. I would pay higher price for better, premium brakes and levers instead of those cheap ones. And i would also appreciate it having a quick shifter for extra price.

Just take the test drive as i did and you will be sure to go with this machine compared to this. Just feel the cluncy gearbox of rtr310 you need to put so much effort to change gear that much that you cant ride that bike without proper shoes.
