Vinay I have been following your blogs and must compliment you on a very factual review of the Honda CB 350. Your admiration for the bike shines through. The points that you consider as negatives, gearing and pickup - are they more in the manner of could have been better or are they deal breakers? Also the small insets that you added to the handlebars, were those necessary because of your height/ reach? Is the stock setup good for an average rider who is 5'8" tall? Have to also compliment you on the location, it is really serene and beautiful. What is this complex called? Thanks.
@motovin773 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the compliments 👍😊 Low end torque could have been better and it's slightly less due to tall gearing, which can be fixed with sprocketing, certainly not a deal breaker. Yes I added the risers to get much higher and more relaxed riding position, it's not needed immediate, you can ride the bike as it which was very comfortable too..later if you feel the need you can get it.

@motovin773 жыл бұрын
You have an height advantage to go with 390 Adv. Which can overtake anything from 120-140 kmph and cruise at 140 all day. But comes at almost twice the cost. CB350 can easily cruise at 110 without any strain, engine is rev happy all the way till 130. But at 110 if you want to overtake it might be not as quick as 390 ADV...

Vinay good review but what was a deal breaker for me was the lack of low end torque even though it's a long stroke engine and not to mention the taller gearing making the bike intractable in city rides where I intend to use it. Honda missed the trick as far as I'm concerned. This is where the new J platform of RE scores over Honda, the meteor even though less powerful on paper has great low end torque and tractability. Good work👍
@motovin773 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct 👍 that's all got to do with the tall gearing, sprocketing should address this issue easily, in rest all the aspects CB scores over the Meteor... In my opinion 😃
@tummalapallisaurabh87083 жыл бұрын
Taller gearing improves high speed performance by keeping vibes at bay. That's why you can cruise at 100+ speeds without any fuss. As for the gearing you shouldn't worry really. I use mostly 1,2,3 gears and 4rth occasionally. 3rd is superb (30-90kmph) spread and it's a blast to ride.

Hello Motovin, I'm such a fan to your videos . Can you please advice if I can rev cb350 at higher rpm s and ride it at 100+ before first service ? Please let us know what should we not do before first service.
@motovin773 жыл бұрын
Thanks my friend ☺️👍 Take it a bit easy on the bike, engine and all the parts are brand new and need to bed in well, I had made a video on Running in procedures, in short avoiding revving to high rpms, however in 5th gear you can still cruise at 80-90.

Hi sir, I bought honda highness bike a week ago and hearing a squealing noise while releasing the clutch. I am facing this issue from the day I received the bike and the showroom service people have no idea on it. Have you faced this issue and any idea on how to resolve it?
@motovin772 жыл бұрын
Congratulations 👏 Sorry to hear but I have not faced any such sounds from the clutch till date. Please ensure adequate engine oil and clutch free play as recommended in the owner manual. Also check the clutch cable routing and make sure it is not getting pulled or stretched. If this doesn't solve, pls call honda customers care and log a complaint if Bigwing service center has no clue how to fix

Hi Vinay, Can this be the one and only bike in the garage that can be used for commuting and touring. By touring i mean 2000kms ride mostly on tarmac and off road when necessary depending on the road condition. Also can it hold up speeds of 110-120 kmph?
@motovin773 жыл бұрын
Yes it can be that one bike in the garage which can meet all your city commute and Touring needs and can keep up with 110-120 kmph all day depending on the road. Light off roading definitely possible... If you are looking for higher cruising speeds or a proper off-roading tool it might disappoint you...

@@sharathreddy520 you dont get it do you? This bike has long stroke engine with tall gearing. This engine works most efficiently at 70-90 kmph. Try riding at those speeds, you will see a eco light lighting up. Unlike 150 cc bikes, cb350 is designed as a cruiser that runs at low rpm at high speeds, putting less strain on engine and delivering high mileage.
