Honda CB Two Fifty test ride

Testing my 1999 Honda CB250 Two fifty, it still pulls strong.

Classic. My wife had one of them, a ‘94 I think, the red tank and white alloy wheels. Amazingly slow with me on it ( 6’5” 110kg ) but for round town, suburban and short rides out of town, it was great. You could ride it hard and not get on the wrong side of the law. Extremely economical but a bit of a bear when it was cold, with the single carb feeding two cylinders. Full choke for a cold start.

Yes! Always choke on start no matter hot or cold season! I own 5 times more powerful biles and always come back to play this little honda once in a while and have fun full throttle!

@@rautibo haha, yes, my ZRX1200S and even my K75S would make it look slow, BUT, you can ride the little Honda hard, and not get on wrong side of the law. And not even exceed your own abilities. My wife loved it, but these days she prefers getting on the back of the other bikes with me. Still, a great learner and commuter bike regardless.

Very nice little bike. Under 6500, it sounds like a mini norton commando, no ? Or like an old triumph tiger, which has also only one carbu... Thank you. I think i'll buy one.😉
