i am looking for a used one of this lately and when i do test ride on some of the cbr250r, it amazed me on the ergonomics, my hand and feet are just right where they are, and they are so easy and comfortable to ride. not much power but i love the torque

Getting one in a week or two for my first bike to learn. I've heard and read nothing but good reviews on this bike. Well done Honda. Keep innovating with design that really matters most.

I own two of them. The first one is red and silver and had sat unused for 5 years. I bought it for $400. and made it run but could not get a title. Later I found a red, white and blue 2012 with a blown engine for $500 but the rest of the bike was perfect. I swapped the engine from the first one into the second one in 13 hours and now have one beautiful $900. bike to join my other 3 Hondas. I only wish it had a gear position indicator

Just purchased a second hand one of these in Black. Love the VFR looks. Its a great little bike. Runs out of top speed at times, but there is a hell of a lot of bike there and its great quality. I love having fuel injection. No more damn carbs.

At age 57 and after riding much bigger, faster bikes I've just bought one and it's great fun. Enjoy whatever you've got for what it is and what it can do, all too easy to get hung up on what a bike isn't and what it can't do which a lot of the reviewers, mags, etc. encourage in their own interests. Be yourself...

I'm 58, same situation as you. First bike in 25 years, had bigger bikes before. This thing is so light and nimble, has enough power for what I want. I do mostly secondary highway driving (80km/hr), it's amazing on fuel, and other than the horrible seat I can't seem to get used to, it's comfortable. 4000 kms in 3 months is more than many people put on in 2 years. To each their own, I like this bike. I don't see the reason to get anything bigger. If I'm going to do any amount of main highway driving...I'll take the Celica.

Have had mine since 2013, still enjoy it. Also own a ktm duke 690, harley electra glide 2007, and a 2001 harley heritage softball. Have not had ANYTHING go wrong with it. Also over 75 mpg.

I'm 6' 2" and 311lbs and 76 years old. Forget what you've heard that it is a beginner's bike. It is a wonderful capable bike for anyone regardless of experience, is fuel injected, liquid cooled and starts instantly every time. I got mine because I noticed it looked exactly like my 2010 VFR 1200f; kind of a "baby brother". and being 357lbs is much easier to maneuver

How much for a '11 w/ 20k miles?

Not from a dealer private sale in good shape I'd say no more then 1,300 if you can talk em down even 1,000

If only it had some cargo carrying capacity. I've learned 95% of my motorcycle rides involve carrying groceries or something else home from town. If you can't carry a world of things on your bike, it's pretty much ends up being a useless garage queen.

Why didn't you mention the blown led back light!? Haha
