The one and only sportbike that I ever rode is my GSX-R600 K1, which is an awesome bike, but the 929 and 954 are still a dream bike to me. I will try to find a decent one hopefully this year.

Good luck! Before I had few 600 ccm. Sport one was CBR F4 in perfect condition as well but 929RR is so much powerfull. I don't know how much power must have zx10r from 2004 without any electronical support like wheelie control, traction control or abs. That zx10r will be my next bike ;). But You buy 929 and You will be very satisfied.

I wanted to buy Kawasaki zx9r or Yamaha R1 but finally I have bought 929 and still I am not sure did I do good choice. The maine reason is I had to invest a lot of money to restore it to good mechanical condition.

Great bike. My father owned one back in the day, though I hardly rode with him. I think she's running hella fine, bro! She's my all-time favorite of all Fireblade's, ngl. All the ones that came after may be better in every way on paper, but to me...the 929 is the ultimate 'Blade. I just fucking love that bike to death, hahah!

Technology has moved on. I'm sure if you or I will check out one of the newer ones we say the 929 was slowly or bad ballanced :P. But now I think is really easy bike to ride on it :).

Went to the the nurbergring on a 929 from Ireland,, the Isle of man twice ,, ulster gp. North west 4 times . I rode the R1, the ninja,, the k1 , all the same year ,, yhe blade was the best all round ,, but the suzuki K1 was a rocket ship when came out . The K1 had another 40hp, but the blade was way more refined and balanced ,,

Wow! That must have been an unforgettable trips :). I had before CBR F4, and my first impession was that 929RR is worse ballanced but after 6 or 7 thousands kilometers on 929, I think that is so easy bike to drive. May have You driven a r1 from 2007-2008 or ZX10R from 2004-2005? If yes, what do you think about that bike if compere it to Blade 929? Peace!

@@tonyvideochannel6871 I heard that is not big difference in handling but engine's walls in 954 are more thin that why it is more easy to damage it. Of course if you buy well-kept bike everything will be ok. For me 954 looks so much better that 929 but when I was buying bike, noboday has giot nice 954, that why I bought 929.

Hello. That was my first run with that speed on my new bike, and I didn't change gears well and additionally I tested intercome first time as well, and I had in my ears really loud songs. Next run for top speed will be better ;). Check it soon ;)!

Hi . Your bike it's going very well, on mine I don't know why I can't get past 275 I already have new iridium spark plugs, kn air filter, long scorpion exhaust, new oil and filters and I have stock sprockets.

Hello Marcelo! May You have to clean and synchronize the throttle bodies and adjust the valves. Sometimes after changed exhaust you have to adjust engine for it - You have to map it. Another thing, check the compression on cylinders.

Great bike but 954 the 2 yrs made was best fireblade in my opinion combo.of hp to weight and how it handled. The ultimate blade, even though new ones faster 954 was lightest and handled like a 600 but ran like a 1000

I read that It has many problems tho....And buying one used its way to much to gamble. I think 929 is a safer bet and not that far behind 2hp less and 2 kg less is not much...

954 doesn't handle like 600s and certainly it can't keep up with newer 1000s. It's much closer to current GSX-R 750 in power, acceleration and top speed.

Hello! Yes, they are stock. One of previouse owners has already changed all drive (chaine and sprockets) but he has installed identical parts. It means front sprocket has got 16 teeth, and rear has got 42 teeth. In some countries as USA, Honda installed rear sprocket with 43 teeth in 929RR, but for Europe was 42. That what is not stock I have changed exhaust for short carbon Mivv but I havent't done engine mapping for it yet. Bike is lighter cause exhaust of around 2-4 KG? Some expert has cleaned and synchronized throttles and has installed also new spark plugs Denso. He has removed and placed new bearings as well in the frame head. All filters and liquids have been changed, and i have new break liquids and new brake pads. I did that attempt on preety new tires Battlax S22. Sorry by late response ;)!

175 Miles per hour tested on an metzler ko1 rear tyre.. race profile ,, BSB, superstock ,, larger diameter,, more speed and larger side profile . handling is way better ,,but dangerous in the wet on public roads. The rear will last about 1000 miles. 1000klms,, the front tends to last two rear tires.. They are like chewig gum when you are getting proper heat into them

​@@incrediblemagic3859maybe because a stock 929 was only good for 268-270kph. No way in hell your bike is 30kph faster. That speedo error from changing the gearing or your speedo is on crack. Hell, even the GSXR1000 of the same time only would do 280kph

@@FullForce1972 All speedometers shows in 100 kph few kph more, and the differences between real and showed speed is growing when you ride faster. Real speed of CBR 929RR sended to Europe is 284 kph as you can read in brochures.

​@@pittsmike666that calculation is not that easy, yes the RRR is powerful and it will hit 325kph, but when you go 300+kph things like aerodynamics and resistance from wind become a big part of everything.
