I agree with you, im too owner of cbr650r with akrapovic and i absolutelly love the bike with the exhaust and 4-line is amazing with the bangs and sound. For track is enough and long distance trips with gf its really great to enjoy this bike. Best choice

I own both. 21' cb650r and 08' cbr600rr. Both are totally different bikes and feel. The light weight of the 600rr is instantly noticable and feel it gives it an extra boost in acceleration while still feeling very stable at high speeds. The 650r is definitely more comfortable for longer rides and id have to say the extra weight helps this bike feel stable at high speeds for a naked bike

Also, it shocked me at first at how tame the 600rr is at low speeds. Not as aggressive and jerky as some people make it seem.

2 things , the correction first. cbr650r has a steel frame indeed but the swingarm is from aluminum . Second with the first look the front piston calipers looking the same almost 4 pistons but the cbr600rr has monoblock 4 piston calipers.

Started on a 2021 CBR650R. Loved that bike! The most beautiful woman to ever exist, rode on the back as my backpack. Good times. Now I ride a CBR1000RR, totally skipped the 600rr. I call her "Kisara".

@FastGamingSeries its another world dude..We talking about 160-215 HP, 300KM+ top speed and 0-100 in less than3 seconds. Even the 600RR is a lot more wild the 650.

@FastGamingSeries they are about the same weight, same seat height and same riding position. The 1000 has much more power and the 650 has better gas mileage. Unless you live somewhere that has a lot of straight flat roads, I wouldn't see an advantage to getting a 1000. I live in Florida and even then, rarely can i find opportunity to give the 1000 everything shes got. I was wanting more power within a month of having the 650. But i can handle turns and curves just as well on my 1000 as i did my 650. So if you didn't have many straights , I would recommend test riding both the 650r and the 600rr and going with whichever you would prefer. The 1000rr has different riding modes you can alter, so you can modify the power to ride like a 650r and even with a lot of atraights, taking the 650r to the max is good fun. They both are well built machines and is easy to change the oil. Whatever you decide, ride safe.

Put it simple: 600RR is a uncompromised RACING weapon, the 650R is a Sport bike with focus on comfort for the streets. Would i change my 600RRand the pain) for a 650R? No fuckn way :D The only thing i dont like the new 600RR is the RPM... My 2008 revs at 17.000! But the new one still screams wildly like any inline four Supersport should.

yessirr 2008 gang quick shifting at redline torque and having the next gear come in at 14k rpm is a entirely different experience once getting free of traffic

650R was designed on a budget. Even a 20yr old F4i had more R&D time and has better performance. The CB650R makes more sense instead of slapping racie looking fairings on a non-racie bike. Just my opinion. Its still a better alternative then alot of other bikes in its category. Thats sad.

@elcookiemonsteru I haven't had anything but literbikes or supermoto's in almost 10yrs. Idk what to think about today's market. Anything I would buy is way out of my price range. I've built several of my own streetfighters out of crashed 600's and the CB650 lacks the adrenaline I need to fuel my addiction. My BMW has so much better electronics I'd rather have just have none on the Honda.

@itachiuchiha6891 R7 is the worst. Same thing MT-07 makes an alright streetbike. Nothing I'd buy but you can't take a naked bike motor and slap it into a race chasis. It has SHIT written all over it. The R&D teams get to skip an entire process to save money. The engineers like Tadao Babo whos like 80yrs old put blood, sweat and tears into giving Superbike performance available to the public for affordable prices so everyone could experience something breathtaking have been replaced by corporate marketing advisors and people eat that up. And bullshit youtube videos about practicality.

this is the first generation CBR1000RR has the same "racing oriented" genre as other superbikes, previously he was different .... because he was a different motorbike with RC series like RC45 or RC51 ... so " -R " is the same as ZX R -YZF R - Panigale R -GSX R -M R .... while CBR1000RR is its "name" ... which means "racing replica", which previously was a motorbike that was really for the street, while in the race specifically for the "RC" series ... now cbr has entered the racing group for the first time with the code "-R".

I'm surprised you used different units for fuel consumption. In fact it looks odd. 650R would be 4.9 litres / 100km (48 US mpg) 600RR would be 5.4 litres / 100km (43.5 US mpg)

I really doubt the 600RR does all that... 22KM per 100KM? Well, maaaaybe with the new tech, but most of 600RR(at least here in europe) you will get 16-17KM per liter.

I think the CBR650R has been a bit of a let down. The previous CBR600f, where was superseded by the CBR650R, had 102 hp. Quite the difference. I had the previous 2012 CBR600f and it was perfect!

I love the 650r. To me it’s perfect for what it’s designed for. Low end is great for “city driving” and it’s really fast for the open highway. Not a track bike - not supposed to be.

For long trips, the 650R is definitely the better pick, better mileage, cheaper maintenance, and way more comfy. The 600RR, on the other hand, makes more sense if you're hitting the track a lot.
