I also have Honda City. Today my mechanic opened the throttle body, cleaned it with spray and reinstalled it. He didn't calibrate it with the scanner. Now my Honda City is behaving weirdly. Upon starting and putting into 1st gear, without giving acceleration it starts and run at around 18kmph speed, on 2nd gear it automatically runs at 23kmph speed and on 3rd gear it goes at 30kmph speed without giving any acceleration; like an automatic car. My car is manual. Mechanic said that it'll be fine in a day or two. Will it be fine automatically?

No it will not be fine automatically, you have to do computer scan calibration it's a must after ever engine work for both manual and auto cars, change your mechanic as well.

@@SHAHZADKHANS yes. I went to that mechanic the very next day, he recalibrated the RPM with OBD-II device and an app on mobile. RPM got stable and issue resolved.

It's possible but better to go to am experienced mechanic because it has many detailed parts that can get damaged if not properly taken care of.
