I messed up thinking my 2018 Accord would take 5.3 quarts. Nope just 3.91 plus a bit more for the filters. When I took out the level bolt the fluid just keep coming. I spent quite a bit of time making sure the car was level but it just kept coming out. Finally I checked the number of quarts for an Accord and was quite relieved to know it was just ~4 quarts. There are a few other slight differences for the Accord. Still the best video out there.

Just swappen my CVT ATM oil, but I did not swap either of the fiilters out. 1. Does the service manual say anything about swapping the filters? Is the filter swap suggested by Honda, or this just extra maintenance that is optional? 2. Can I still go ahead and swap out the upper warmere-filter and two gaskets? Just don't want to drain out the new CVT fluid to remove the bottom ATM filter. Which filter doese most of the filtering, the one in the pan? Great video!
@masood-tv6 ай бұрын
Hi Razz, yes, the one in the pan does most of the filtering. Wait a couple thousand miles and do both. When you just drain, not all of the fluid drains out. A second one of the pan will freshen up your fluid pretty good. The filter is not expensive. From then on, replace both filters and fluid every 30k miles for sure.

I don't think people should do this more than once if even that. At most you MIGHT argue 1 change of filters at 150Kish or something but it wasn't designed for frequent changes and people risk not sealing something up or some other mistake. If you clog those filters up with transmission debris, you got bigger problems.
