@@TahaJavaid-k8w Lol if you don't know something then you should stay quiet. 10 lacs difference doesn't include the tax on 2500cc vehicles..and if you add that tax that will make the sonata almost 117 lacs and also registration cost of sonata is more than twice of civic so that makes the overall difference of almost 20 lacs. Personally owning an 11th gen civic oriel and also owning a 2.5 sonata. I prefer to drive the civic over the sonata as it just feels better while driving. These small features like ADAS of the RS and the panorama sunroof of the sonata arent very useful. And someone who has a long daily commute, I prefer to take the civic over the sonata. Those features aren't really used as much and there is more of a "I have it on my car". I think honda did an amazing job on the 11th gen in terms of it's drive and it's engine power from the 1.5l 4cyl turbo engine. The steering rack is a big problem of the 11th gen aswell, but the part replaced by Honda is prone to break again

Sonata has a lot more features. Excellent build quality. A naturally aspirated 2.5 engine which is really smooth on the highway. It has a bigger size and bigger interior being a D segment sedan. Sonata has no vibrations even above 200km/h speed where as Civic vibrates. I personally own a Sonata 2.5 and it gives 11Km/L average in city and 16-17Km/L on motorway. It does not need high octane. On the roads you will hardly see Civic RS but you will see a lot of Sonata 2.5 because people clearly prefer Sonata over a Civic RS. Sonata has a lot of features that Civic lacks such as: Heads up display, wireless charging, rear passenger window curtains, 6 airbags, electric seats, auto adjustable seats with lumbar support for driver, auto rear window shade, a fully digital meter, apple car play and android auto, panoramic roof, parking sensors on the front and rear, bigger tires, 60L fuel tank, bigger trunk, welcome lights, LED turn signal lights on front and rear, a much better horn, better comfort of front and rear passengers, perforated napa leather seats, rear charging outlet, shift wire gear, lock and unlock control with copilot seat, vanity lights, hydraulic bonnet, etc.

Wrong info. Elantra, Sportage and Tucson have the same 2.0 engine which is very reliable. Hyundai and KIA are considered to be in the top reliable car brands in the world in 2024. We have not faced a single issue of any kind in our Sonata 2.5. Sonata is considered one of the most reliable midsized sedans in the world. U are clearly just a typical civic fanboy

No comparison at all. Sonata overall in every aspect is on another level of luxury. It is us who compares two different car segments. Worldwide sonata is compared against either a camry or Accord. My family made a decision on sonata based on features and cabin size it offers. The pricetag of civic even in 2024 does not justify the luxury honda is offering.

For the price of Sonata, you are coming into the bracket of Haval HEV. Which is a beast of a car on its own. For Sonata to keep relevant, I think they need to lower the price by around 1 million. That way they fall into the right category of something a little better than Civic but something a little less than Haval H6 HEV. Or they could just get the new facelift of Sonata at the current price point - that would be a the dream!

Sonata is a sedan haval is a crossover both completely different vehicles..Jisko sedan chaiye usne sedan he leni hai kyu ke sedan wali drive crossover nhi de sakti..Sonata ki ride quality aur comfort is way better then haval the only thing haval has over sonata are the adas features per koi bhi insaan inn features ki base per gari nhi leta other factors like handling and stability,suspension and build quality etc ye cheezey matter karti hai which ofc sonata ki better hain haval se

I’m sorry to say but you’re wrong, I owned a 2018 oriel and sold it in dec, well I had my steering rack changed three times in warranty tho.

@@nightdoctor7513 then i guess from 2019 because all these issues were fixed they completely changed the parts from 2019 they added better quality steering rack and even added a better radiator and the ac was also changed so no problems were found again but they did come back the steering rack one in 11 th gen civic the oriel variant not the rs one

@@nightdoctor7513no he isn't wrong, The civic x facelift in 2019 fixed alot of the issues that the car had previously, first bought a civic in 2017 and then bought a civic rs turbo in 2019 and there was definite change in build quality and over all feel. I never encountered the steering rack issue in Civic previously no one in my family did, but a lot of my friends decided to buy the same car again in 2019 when the face lift launched, and they all now enjoy with their cars without any issue with steering rack and a much better build quality then the pre facelift version.

Although Sonata is superior as compared to Civic. I will prefer a civic. You get good features, a powerful engine, comfort and the best driving dynamics (handling, stability, road grip cornering and braking and acceleration) in its segemnet Also the only locally produced sedan in Pakistan, which features ADAS. No other sedan not even Sonata has this neither the 2.0 nor the 2.5. Yes, Sonata has nore airbags, parking sensors, and electric seats. But these things aren't actually a deal breaker, honestly.

It is an issue with the sonata's throttle body that if you dont get it serviced after every 5000 kms the cars throttle body will o think not run or choke or something and the car wont acclerate past 15 km/h

you missed one main point on the longevity of the Civic 1.5 (Turbo Engine) where as Tuned cars dont survive in our conditions but still its a major point. I have both sonata 2.5 at 125 speed gives me 15 kml and civic rs at 125 speed gives me 14.6 kml avg . In city sonata 2.5 gives me 10.7kml and civic rs gives me 11kml . Both are 2023 model 15k driven each . And both driven on high octane for highway and 70%on high octane and 30% on normal petrol for city

If you’re having to talk so much about the black roof liner then you know it’s a pretty poor interior, in terms of features and quality. I have unfortunately a civic & moving from Europe, the standard of locally available vehicles are very poor, incredibly overpriced and zero value for money! It seems these manufacturers basically sell their castoffs to Pakistan. The civic variant available would never be sold in any other part of the world as it’s so poorly made, lack of quality & lack of features! Worst car ever I’ve ever driven!

And as for the civic and sonata 0-100 times. i own both and have tested them on high octane and both are driven 20k km. both were tuned and maintained by there respective companies Civic rs is faster then sonata although not by a mile, but still a faster then Sonata. The 2016 original Civic turbo and 2019 RS facelift have a 0-100 time of around 7.3 to 7.8 seconds.
