Seeing lots of DBags bitching about cutting the VENTS... First the VENTS are non functional and if you actually did this install yourself instead of being a keyboard pro you would know that with out cutting just like he did the new bezel wont fit AND you can not attach the little hold on screw without cutting the vent portion. He did it correctly and they work GREAT! Good job man. Your bumper is perfect and NOT screwed up like some of these comments. I have done 2 sets and they are done the EXACT same way.

What kit brand did you buy? I’m seeing a lot of cheap looking kits online. And yes, stupid comments are from useless people with know hands on experience, let alone vehicles, the people in the comments always drive crappy cars.

Actually that’s incorrect. You can leave the vent portion on and just drill a hole where the screw for the bezel should go. I saw a KZbin video where this dude did it that way and everything fit just fine.

for all for you asking this will fit a 99-00 civic only. the front bumper is different on these years. If you have an older model of the 6th gen you will need to get the 99-00 front end conversion which includes the hood fenders grill and front bumper

you dont have to cutt all of it like he did right? because on the opposite where he mounted of the bracket left a big hole but if you leave it it still has that over laped part lol anyone understand what i mean? im talking about where their is 4 screw holes.

I'm stuck I had follow all the instructions, the plugs are all plug in, the switch lid on, but when I press the switch the lights won't go on. Perhaps you can show what you did to connect them,

You should swap it but then you would have to swap the Fenders, Headlighs, and Hood so that woulb be a little costly or just get the fog lamps that go in the breather of the bumper!!

I checked the fuse, it's new no damage there, I check all the connections they're intact. The switch fog it's lid constantly

Do you have the Ebay kit or the oem kit? With ebay kit, I did it a little different than that write up. In the engine compartment ground all the black wires, and connect the fuse wire to the positive on the battery terminal. As for relay some put it under the airbox. Than the long red wire goes inside which you connect it to the switch. Now how many wire come out of your switch. I seen 3 wire and 2 wires?

You don't have to cut all of it. I cut just the flat part of it. Not the one with the vents. If you know what I mean.

+Em12k lol. You only cut a rectangular hole to fit the lamp. Not the whole section. The little black "fins" should stay there.

why not simply use a new drywall blade to cut the outline? They are super sharp and will slice right through without ahesitation. Seems to me its a bit messy with the drill and besides theres a discrepancy with people with shaky and unstable hands that could potentially go over the outline and ruin their bumper.... just my opinion

In this video he said he used a drywall bit. What are you talking about? Looks like it did a good job of cutting. For someone with shaky hands a easier cutting bit would cause more problems because the bit would veer off in the direction and cut without hesitation ruining the bumper
