Considering you're driving a 2.0 high compression petrol car. 30 to 35 mpg is far far from abysmal. most lower power petrol cars struggle for 40.

I get 32 MPG on average from my FN2 Type R

You're not wrong, I owned a Citroen C4 Loeb edition which was only at 110hp and that did about 35mph.

got a 2010 Fn2 CHWhite with LSD and I like the car alot.LSD gets it to another level..Agree about the seats..Think that you can always sell the car,sow you should have a little bit more fun in it...And then get the CTR 2017

nice review and i bought one back in October. Great car and i love it! Nice to drive absolutely love the way it looks and the vtec engine sound! I don't drive it that much as i get the train to work so enjoy it more but would probably say driving it everyday about 60 miles would get too much due to the suspension. I'll probably keep mine for 4 -5 years and then buy a golf R

Thanks Niel, when when I'm not doing any motorway stuff at all then I get about 240miles from the tank, but that does include quite abit fun country road driving. maybe I should try an eco run in it

i get between 290 and 340 per tank ( quite a small tank that holds about £50 of fuel) depending on outside temperature mostly. i do a 15 mile commute each way with 5 miles of that in busy traffic. The lowest i had was 24 when testing its capabilities but as i said previous, ther biggest impact is lots of cold starts now the weather has turned Previous to this car i had a focus 1.8 petrol which got 380 to a tank but that tank held nearly 70 quids worth of fuel.

..is your blinker indicator on the left side of your steering wheel in your type R? the same hand you are changing gears with and operating all the dash knobs?
