maybe scooter can not be compared with "manual" motorcycle when uphill, expecially 10 degree uphill right? thank you sir

Scooter would probably have a small power loss through the 'automatic' transmission, but otherwise, it would be close. I have taken a WR155R up the same hill as the aerox (similar engine), and there wasn't a noticeable difference (both slugs lol 😆)

@@mototouro in Da Lat-Viet Nam you can search "Doc Nha Bo", someone test PCX 160 it hard to clim when "hill-start", expecially when you have heavy lugage and two person on bike. Scooter shift "gear" instantly when open more throttle angle. With manual bike i can keep first gear to clim, no need high speed, only torque needed hehe

Thank you for the video! How tall are you? I'm 5'11" (180cm) and wonder if I'll be ok on a Click 160 with a passenger on the back? I want a underbone for big tires in the province, but the floorboard storage of the Click will be more useful.

Hi Joe, glad you enjoyed the video, it was a bit of fun. I'm exactly the same as you height wise. The click will pull you and a passenger (assuming lightweight Thai here), no problems. Fix the front brakes immediately as they are terrible. They have some silly dual brakes set up on them that supposed to distribute braking force evenly front and rear, but doesn't work. The Yamaha aerox is a far better motorcycle in nearly every area, but it's not a step through. I rode one across Vietnam two up with backpacks and it was awesome. Honda is cheaper, a little lighter, and has the ability to store things in the footwell. I would hire one of each for a few days to see what suits you best. Good luck, and ride safe 🙏

Thank you!@@mototouro I've heard the combi-brake on Honda don't come adjusted well from the dealer many times. For the same price I could get the Honda Airblade 160 with ABS, but again, no footboard storage. I don't retire to the house my wife built me in Philippines for another 9 months. I'll figure something out.

Which feels more planted? Which has the firmest forks?

The Aerox155 is easily the most stable, planted bike of the two. There is a full review on the Aerox on my channel, one of the few English language reviews on this great little bike. The Honda has a slightly faster engine, and is a little more practical with it's step through design, but it's suspension is rubbish at both ends, is somewhat unstable at higher speeds, but it is cheaper than the yamaha too. Get a test ride on both. Just hire each one for a full day. Ride safe 🙏

Well, for me Honda Click 160 won. I can see the Click160 catching up, there was just not enough space for the Click160 to overtake the Yamaha.

I agree Kyondi, the click has a good power to weight advantage over the aerox. Fon was pretty fast on her starts though 😀

The click is definitely just a little bit quicker in acceleration, Joseph, but if I was tipping one of them into a bend at 100kph, I would take the yamaha aerox every time 😃
