I just bought one, I think I might actually like rain mode for a lot of around town and stop and go traffic. Really cuts out the twitchyness from the throttle I thought.

Hi every thing you said is right. I've had mine for six months. Have clocked up 5,500 miles. It's more of a hooligan bike than you would think. Plus a pretty good tourer. Fit's me fine at 5,7 . Sounds great with a pipe on to .

I had mine 3 months ago after trying several cruisers of the same segment. It's hands down good value for money. The engine sounds very nice at lower speeds, and the torque is unreal even on the standard mode. I do about 60 miles daily on it for commuting on the M1 and it's a joy to ride. One thing to complain about is the seat and the handle bar being too forward, but that's an 3asy fix.

Looking at a '23 1100T bagger as a touring bike... few wee mods needed! Everything out from under the seat, a fuel cell put in, rear brake to the bars(DCT), smaller lithium battery below the full cell, Africa Twin headers(de-cat) and a Caberre tip from eBay, under £200 full system, rear lamp from a Yamaha Bolt and a set of De Pretto Moto forward controls that go under the casings (pulls your legs in 4"),rack and a Mustang seat, great bike to go to the Black Sea on!(about 25litre capacity).

I was really confused when you were saying speeds in mph because I thought the UK used kph. Excellent review! Put a deposit down on one.

Nope, we use a delicious mish-mash of units just to confuse everyone. Thanks Aaron and enjoy it when it comes!

After discontinuing the 4 cylinder, air cooled, CB1100... I'd like to see Honda release a model with that style of modern classic using this engine. I think it would sell very very well and it would probably be a saving compared with the 1200 Boneville range.

I love my 2021 CMX1100 DCT. Gentle when you want it, and a screamer when you want that!

Ahh domo Honda-san 😆 interesting you noted Diavel is not comfy. I find my Rocket 3R very comfy on longer rides and add a little tour screen when I do the bigger miles. My back was in bits for 4 days after 2 hours on Diavel. Nothing touching the Rocket yet and no word on the H2 Kwak. Cruiser 🤷♂️

I like the look it needs a decent sissy bar and the silencer needs binning then I think it would be nice and yes I would have on in my garage nice one : )

I got the 500se, which is one off, not a lot of bikes, I can get feet on ground! Am 5 foot 4, with short inside leg of only 27 inches. Quite fancy this as a step up, looks well nice. I light the display over the 500. Would defo add, heated grips, fly screen or that bat wing, oh plus the front fender extender, as you get massive crude over exhaust and engine.😢 The cruise be very handy on longer runs. The exhaust is ugly, but does sound very nice. I have the saddle bags on my 500, so would transfer them over. But with this, your limited on what after market silencer you can fit.😢 The ones I like the look off are up swept, so would melt the saddle bag. Others are so ugly. Fussy bugger😊. Enjoyed the video, thanks……Wee Mark.😊 I got a 350 Meteor too, what a great bike it is, but on tippy tip toes on it.😢

Single disk is surprising on a 220+ kg bike but Indian Scout is the same price here in Au and that's single disk at 256 kg. Think I'd spend just a grand more for a Suzuki Boulevard M109R. Shoshurisan? Sosurisan? Soushu... Wha? Ahhh.. Soichiro.. right, the hot noodle scooter guy. Got it.
