i gotta 06 that runs horrible it’s been rebuilt its literally a flamethrower with all the pops only stay on with choke please help!

Hi, you say it’s just been rebuilt so the first thing I would do is make sure the timing is set properly and then check my valves. See if the lashes are set to specks. Once both of them has been confirmed then I would go through the carburetor. Hope this helps you out and thanks for watching.

Check it before or after? Do you check that first?

I would check the tensioner first. If that checks ok. Then check the timing chain. Make sure it hasn’t stretch so much that the tensioner can’t keep it tight. Then I would check the timing. Thanks for watching!! Be sure to like and subscribe to our channel.
