(RIDE UPDATE: SCROLL TO BOTTOM)...We did the airbox mod and now put in the 165 main jet. Carb is already off the bike in this video. What pipe did you get? I cannot find one for my '15 CRF250X. I ordered one from cyclepartsnation/hondapartsnation and they scammed me. It was an FMF - said they had it in stock a month ago & I paid with a credit card. It never came. Won't answer emails or calls. So I had to dispute it with the card company.

@@TheRealWorld737 Hey I hear you!! don't even get me started spent like 2 weeks trying to find a manufacturer that stocks 250x exhausts. I went with lexx exhaust 10/10 would recommend it sounds super good, has a spark arrestor if you need it for woods riding and still sounds so good with it in comparison to the stock exhaust. But you can take the core out then you can have a true MX bike sound wise. I'm from canada so we only have a few good online places to buy bike parts and accessories from and the lexx exhaust was the only pipe I could find for my bike. Not to mention its price was like $300 cad for me so like $250 usd for you compared to other brands like FMF AND YOSHIMURA the price is hard to beat. Not to mention its looks, All blacked out with a lexx exhaust silver plack, and I believe the mid pipe is titanium as well. Wish you all the best with your 250x build!!

Hey did you say magnetic plug/screw for the float bowl? And did you ever get it? Didn't see link in description. Middle of Total tear down and rebuild of a 06 CRF 250X myself. Found your video looking for additional ideas or details about the Allen screw holding needle(mine has spring and brass washer/oring) making sure no trick to it like nut, spring, brass washer/ oring then needle or nut, spring needle, then brass washer/oring? I found magnetic oil drain plug but bowl plug/screw sounded worth a shot! I mean just for extra protection why not even sliver of metal could clog jet.... sounded genius but cant locate anything other than"pretty colored" replacement bowl screw/plug was found. Thanks in advance if you read comments on old video!

I think mine had it stock. But it’s a 2015 and I don’t know if that was a change from 2006.

What’s the seat heat now on the bike since you converted it over to SM wheels

I’ll have to measure for ya- but it’s between 1.5-2” shorter is my guess.

Ah.. I’m partial to the Honda’s. But I like Yamaha as well. I’d look up the specs side by side and see if the WR has any advantage vs the Honda.

Hello, I have a 08 Crf250r, hard to start sometimes. Sputters really bad too when steadily applying throttle through every gear, should I buy this kit? I already plan to rebuild my carb. Thanks.

I have a aftermarket exhaust, dual pro circuit. And I don’t think I have an air box mod, I also have a backfire mesh cover if that matters.

Make sure you check the valve clearances. If they are already taken care of & within specs- then do the carb.

Not sure if you've done it already but most carb rebuild kits come with some type of jettings
