Cuz I did it from the front of the firewall and put it straight out after you loosen the ac lines

@@marshallk23the expansion valve also slide out from under the hood. Follow your ac lines. It goes straight to it

Hi, great video what symptoms required you to change the expansion valve? Also my ac light is on, freon level good, compressor turning, and fans all work, but my air is hot. You think it's my ac compressor? cause I'm leaning towards that. My ac system was fine but this just happened. Relay and fuses good as well.

With a normal charge of refrigerant, a low reading on the low side ( around 20 or less ) would indicate a bad expansion valve.
