Do you know if the 2012 crv has something similar? I remember I had to dismantle it but never checked it this way

Great video. 1st I’ve ever seen or heard of dealing with fog light adjustments. But, I’d like more information about proper adjustments. For instants; headlights have need a flat leveled 6’ distance against a wall to adjust them. At least that is what I’ve seen on KZbin videos. Is there a side to side adjustment as well? In any case, you raised a question that I’ve not thought of. Thanks.

Way back when people just drilled a couple holes in their front bumper and bolted on a set of lights (I grew up in two places listed in the top 10 for fog in the US, so I got to see a lot of this during the 70s and 80s when bumpers were obvious chromed things), people would generally park about 20 feet away from a wall, turn on their low beams, adjust the fog lights to be lined up just under them, and then tighten down the bolts. In heavy fog, and sometime snow, the best option was to turn off your headlights completely and just drive using your amber fog lights. Bright white headlights just had too much reflection and scatter, effectively blinding you from seeing 15 or 20 feet past the hood of your car. Amber lights aimed lower at the road would let you creep along fairly safely at up to about 20mph. When I did this for my own vehicle I also installed a set of halogen back-up lights on my rear bumper. They came in most handy on deserted roads late at night when someone started tailgating you and refuses to pass when given the opportunity (I assume they wanted me to pull over so I could be robbed). Turning those on directly into someone's windshield will quickly have them back off a couple hundred yards.

Aren't those low beams way too high? I really hate to adjust lights. Lights should be at a fixed height. I don't care what the masters of the lightyverse say, a worn tire or suspension literally has almost zero effect on light height position...
