Yes. 4-5-2 OK to monetize the channel, although it is very good to see some content without ads on KZbin. Another way to monetize is to create some kind of merchandising from a good logo (I'm from the old school and I would like a calendar with a beautiful girl holding a banana in her hand but nowadays that would not be very well seen), caps, shirts, stickers, keychains ... About your channel, you're the best along with "Some guys ride". Your sense of humor and your way of creating content is awesome and I am always looking forward to your new videos. 👏👏👏

Thanks so much for the compliments and the great comment. I really am not looking to make any money off all the videos, but KZbin is going to monetize all the channels in the near future and If I don't sign up first, then they will take all the revenue off the adds and still put commercials on my channel. So, best to get something for it. That way, I can at least keep good GoPro cameras and batteries for the videos. Some Guy Rides has a great sense of story telling and then also spends plenty of time shooting different views of his ride. I can tell you with all the different angles and drone shots he does, his riding distance could have been much farther each day if all he did was just ride and film with a chest mount. The guy makes it so much more enjoyable to watch with all the different things he adds. That is why you only see a video from him every three or four days, the editing is very time consuming. Yea, he does a great job...... Tell him I said that and when John, his riding buddy joins him in Colorado, you'll really like his content then..... Two very likable guys,,,,,,,,

Edddie- Monetization: Something about the mix is right. Some light gearhead examination of the bike along with some quality adventure riding in ethereal terrain. If your ultimate driver is a few extra bucks to support ongoing content then I say: you're doing the work(?) now anyways, go for it...it's good to keep busy. The bike is still unique enough to support a very good fanbase. When Honda unconstipates itself and starts to poop out the bikes on a regular manufacturing schedule you may lose some interest. My thumbnail market analysis indicates that may happen sometime in 2023. I have been watching your videos for almost a year... I now have my CT125 and will continue to watch regardless. I pay closer attention to the riding tips you toss in now and then. Strong work. Thanks! 3,4,5

With the threat of KZbin monetizing all the channels and not paying those who have not requested it, I believe it is time to throw in the towel on this issue. Your CT set up is one of, if not THE best I've seen. Ought to be interesting to see what the new pipe will offer up performance wise. As much as pop up adds and commercials aggravate me I still say you should move forward with monetization. Just so long as 'YOU' continue to have fun and your passion doesn't become a burden. Your content is always very entertaining, educational, and you have stage presence. So I say go for it. 🎬💰. What happens if you use the 142cc bore kit without modifying the air filter?
@TeamDNFracing3 жыл бұрын
Don't know for sure, but I would assume it cuts some of the power down. I bought everything at the same time and put on the bike to maximize the effects of the BBK. My choice of exhaust pipes might not have been the best choice as the shop that sells the kit recommended an exhaust pipe with a 19mm head pipe. My Diablo pipe is only 16mm at the head pipe. I have a newer pipe on order that is a full 19mm at the head pipe. Should give it a little more boost. I'll be testing it and doing a video on it this month also, so look for that and for next month, I may do a give-away one of the air filters. The nice thing about the filter I installed is it is one like a K&N filter that can be cleaned and reused where the stock filter is a one time and done filter......... Thanks for the comment........

Eddie- Specifically, why did you choose a 142cc big bore kit and not a larger sized kit? I have seen them on the Internet from 142cc up to 181cc. Would you get a bigger kit if you did it again?
@TeamDNFracing3 жыл бұрын
Very good question: Lucky for me, I have an answer for this one. I did a very long research on wha BBK to put on my bike before going ahead with it. What I found with the 181cc kit was an amazing number of them blowing up. Not only during racing them, but just normal riding conditions. I heard no problems with the smaller 142cc kits. I didn't want one that I had to bore out the cyclinder myself, I wanted an all inclusive kit that had zero problems. Lucky for me, this kit had an excellent report from users and not only that, they included a dyne set of results. Not just there BBk, but with different pipes and against stock CT 125 readings. I have two of these kits, one is on my bike and the other one is in my shop in case for some reason the first one goes bad..... Believe me, it it goes bad, I'll do a video on it. So far, it's run perfect for me and I've ridden it like I would any bike once it was broken in correctly....... The power gain with just 17cc more is not only noticeable on the dyne, but the seat of the pants. Not just by me, but by a novice off road rider Daniel my riding buddy. This is why I wish Honda would have made a 150cc or 175cc bike to begin with. There would never of been the debate about the dual transmission if they had of just put a 150cc engine and a better gearing ratio on the bike..... You probably would still have those who want it to run 100MPH down the high way, but you'll always have those........

I read one of the comments below. Not looking for 100 mph but what is the new top speed?
@TeamDNFracing2 жыл бұрын
With the BBK, a Hot Cam, better air intake, a remapped ECU and the head ported, it will do at least 65MPH. Don't know how fast it will go, but it still was pulling and I still had throttle to go when I ran out of straight road. Not easy finding a long enough straight piece of road around where I live, but once Daniel and Robert get to go ride with me, Robert says he knows a place where I can open it up to see what it will do......
