You are missing a couple of parts - a smaller compression spring (about 6 mm) and a part that looks like a dowel that goes over the spring. Also the spring that you installed should be under the plate with the ball bearings. Perhaps you have discovered this by the time you read this message. I'm glad you started narrating the video at the end. Even though I've done this several times, I still get a few tidbits of knowledge watching someone else doing it. - Good Job!

I will have to go back and watch this video. My shop is unheated so I am doing some indoor work these days. The carburetor is next.

@@claytongerber It was interesting running across your ct90 videos. It looks like you and I are both doing the same project and posting on youtube. Mine is the earlier CT90 K0 (without the subtransmission). I’m planning to do 20 videos and have posted 17 so far. Here is the first video if you are interested. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHTKhnqlmdKfe9U

thanks I am also rebuilding a ST90 with the same clutch style, I accidently adjusted the clutch as if it was a suzuki dr125, when you screw it in it tightens against the pack. This one is opposite and mine fell apart and kick starter lost its action.

For the life of me I dont understand what those tangential oriented springs do, since the housing is plesh with the metal flanges on the inside, there can be not tangential movement?

what is torque spec your using on oil pump screws
@claytongerber11 ай бұрын
For any fasteners that don’t have a torque spec in the manual, I use the torque table from the supplier where I buy my fasteners. boltdepot.com/Fastener-Information/Bolts/Metric-Recommended-Torque.
