Your RED wire from the full wave rectifier that You are calling a Cdi goes to one of the battery hot leds cause thats were the Full Wave Rectifier converts AC Power to DC Power

I'm prett. Y sure that Ignition wire that you're talking about.There is another one right next to it and that also goes through the second reseptical to the battery.I'm pretty sure
