Just recently picked up a 1970 CT90 off of Craigslist for a few hundred dollars. When i showed up it was garage kept and decent shape, but went to kick over....locked up. Asked the guy what that was all about and he said "weird....wasn't that way before"......🙄 Oh well.....took it home anyway. Hopefully nothing too serious that he was "oblivious" to. Thanks for the CT90 content. 👍

good job! I ground the cylinder in exactly the same way!)) I added oil when grinding. good result!

Andy, I have much the same luck as you when buying engines. A recent one I was told was running fine before it was taken out of a atc. When I stripped it, it was siezed, the gearbox was destroyed & i think it had been underwater in a flood... But I really enjoy working on these little bikes. Happy to find your channel.

Two heads I stripped recently the rocker shafts were seized in the head. Had to use a 6mm dynabolt to pull them out. Good luck! If you're mad, then you're not on your own.
