Seems like a almost perfect no nonsense car. Adequate power, good ride, great comfort and GC, spacious and practical. Honda ticked all boxes nicely. For enthusiast drivers, we are forgetting that even if other brands have multiple engine options, thier NA engine is the one which sells the most. Compared to all other NA engines, this one is the best one. Like he said, This NA engine + cvt seems like a perfect deal for most of the people out there. Enthusiast are 1-2% only. The only negative is missing hybrid engine but Honda knows it too. They intentionally skipped it because it will be very high in price (around 24-25) compared to city hybrid and people will just move to scorpio, harrier, xuv in that price range after complaining a lot on social media.

I completely agree with you. Honda India is lazy but the car like City and Elevate are made considering Indian consumer uses. Yes they should have had Ventilated seats and yes they should have had Hybrid Option, Yes they should have had auto up and down for all windows,Yes they should have had side window blind. But excluding that,the price it offers and features it has is more than enough for a normal buyer and at it price point it comes it is a better option than any car at that price point of that segment.

Only Honda city owners know the thrill to drive a high reving engine. That combined with capable handling and great suspension makes this car a great deal. However, People mostly go with specifications and don't go for the test drive to actually experience the drivability of the car. Hope this car does well in the Indian market.

The biggest downside about Honda is that they won't give you parts and you would have to pay labour charges as high as Rs 500 each even for petty things like replacig Air Filter and Cabin Filter which themselves cost less than 500. In hyundai and Maruti you can buy genuine spare and get them fitted at much lower cost and the labour charges for technical things in Honda are also higher than competition. Thats the primary reason why people avoid buying Honda.

Wow! This is the best video online reviewing the Elevate 2023. The rough riding on bad roads and its results are rare in review videos, thank you for doing the video this way. I didn't understand the step in the CVT transmission that you mentioned. Overall it is a fun interpretation of a mini SUV from Honda. I am in love with the new WRV released in Indonesia and Thailand, even though it is smaller than this Suv. I feel this design would have looked smarter if that chrome grille mustache was body colored till the headlights and continued from there in a gun metal color. CVT as the name suggests, has infinite gear ratios . When using paddle shifters to upshift or downshift the cvt pulleys and belt move to preset ratios, which are called steps in cvt.

What i think about honda cars, they represent class and mature people. I saw mostly buisnessman and bankers or i would say intellectual people. While creta and seltos are more of dehati and bhedchal cars. If you want to be a part of bhedchal go for hyundai or suzuki but if you want to be recognised differently and in a different class than there is no better than honda in mass market segment. And their cars speak for their owners personality. Very good review ravi sir, you pointed every pros and cons. And a subtle person would like this practical car more than gimmicky competetion cars. 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️

As a owner of elevate since 6 months there are few things which makes daily driving not easy - 1. Lack of under tigh support in the front seats and lack of foot area this cause pain in the tigh and ankle after long drive 2. please dont take the dual tone as during hot summer - the area around the sun roof area gets super hot in summer even with the sun roof cover you will feel the heat on top of your head while driving and after few hrs both the front passengers will feel the heat and you will be exhuasted after driving. I am not able to find the solution to this and i am disappointed with the lack of engineering skills being executed in this car i was able to improve the under tigh support and lower back support. I took the car to a seat fabricator, and he added extra firm foam in the under tigh area and lumbar support area now the seat feels like a recliner. I am very happy with this solution.

It's for those who wants CVT. Base model can also be reasonable if Honda prices are aggressive, hust because of fab engine, ride quality and looks. Else Kushaq, Nexon or Grand Vitara offers better value. Especially Grand Vitara base model offers great value overall.

I'm currently deliberating between the New Creta and the Elevate for my next car purchase. My budget falls within the range of 18L-19L. My daily commute primarily consists of approximately 80km within city limits, and I go on highway drives around 8-10 times a year. Safety and mileage are top priorities for me. After evaluating various options, I've narrowed down my choices to these two cars. However, I'm facing a dilemma. With my budget, I can afford the Top CVT model of the Elevate, while with the Creta, I can only get the 2nd top model. Although the Elevate lacks some features offered by the Creta, Honda is renowned for its engine performance and reliability. Moreover, I plan to keep this car for more than 10 years, so factors such as service cost and spare parts availability are crucial considerations for my decision. Additionally, I'm concerned about the potential discontinuation of the Elevate model by Honda, similar to what happened with the WRV and BRV models, and how it would impact service and parts availability in the long term. I've received a significant discount from the Honda dealership for the Nov/Dec-2023 model. You should go for a Honda elevate. We had a Honda city ivtec and it is still performing excellent after 12 years. No engine issues till date and car js as smooth as ever.

This is clearly not a 20L car with those features and a NA engine (great engine ofc but still), this at best looks to me like a car that should top out at 18L considering how segment standard features like seat ventilation,etc are absent, if you want outright performance there’s cars like Kushaq 1.5 & Seltos 1.5 which prove to be way better packages as a whole for a customer like me at least

For about the same amount of money, I would prefer a Japanese car to a Korean or Chinese one. The logic is that simple. One point many tend to ignore that the higher the number of gadgets and gimmicks that you have in a car, the greater is going to be your visits to the service centre, And since all these gadgets are internally controlled by the on-board computer, there isn't much roadside mechanics can do to help you. Let's think of cars as just cars, primarily meant to transport you from point A to point B, with comfort and safety. All other features take lesser priority.

Honda cars are very refined and trouble free even after several years. Much safe car compared to other similar cars. Mileage is excellent , paint quality and appearance is attractive . Evaluate has good GC , spacious and VFM pricing. It's manual transmission base model is around 11 lakh rupees.

This Ivtec 1.5 gives its best power deliverey when you warm up the engine little bit. Like 10-15 mins of hard acceleration at the starting and then you go. Nice linear power delivery. Regards~ a city owner.

I'll keep my Astor turbo. 😅 The torque surge in that makes driving absolutely effortless and doesn't need to be revved this high to get performance. Fuel economy seems to be the same when the beans are given. If Honda got a turbo petrol, then things would have got very interesting. Unfortunately they haven't and they won't do that in the future also.

Honda cars are unmatched. After using tata and suzuki cars now I am using Honda City and it is my view that it is very comfortable if you compare it with other cars.

Happy with my Hyryder hybrid. Would have been nice if Honda could bring hybrid version to the elevate...it was much awaited.

Last year I brought kushaq, when I was searching for car Last yr, I visited Honda showroom and found honda doesn't sale suv, if elevate was available that time I might have brought elevate. But now I am happy with kushaq

@@Adwatism I agree, Bro. That's what I am saying that I am happy. Given the body roll SUVs have, I am happy with my decision. Plus the GC VW has added to a Sedan further enhances the drive. Not comparing two cars, I am just saying that Elevate has not brought anything extraordinary to wait for. Even if you wanna buy SUV, one can still go for Japanese (Vitara, Hyryder) and German (Kushaq, Taigun) SUVs.

@@learningandsolutionofficia9419 It's not about being king. It's just about the choice. Creta is the king of the SUV segment, but that doesn't mean it's the best car and perfect for everyone. And Honda City is certainly a good car, no doubt.

Fuel efficiency , speed limit n performance in very high RPM are really problematic even for considering a base model. Only low price range can save this car.

i think its a great car… people are complaining about 360 degree camera, u get the camera on your left side, u can easily watch on ur right and the front view is spectacular on elevate. How often will u open panaromic sunroof everytime u drive? the primary thing when u r considering a great car is its engine and build quality and honda is a master of it. just for gimmick features i cant risk my and family members life.
