I hear a lot, that there is a long delivery time. I must have been lucky. I just walked in and bought the one on the show room floor. They had 4 at the time. So it only took a day or two and I collected it. Great bike in my opinion. Have fun with yours and stay safe. 👍

Two things --- It is possible for a strong wind to blow it forwards off the side stand, so a parking brake is needed. I made a metal clip for the rear brake lever, there´s also a velcro belt which does the job. The Bluetooth pod under the left handlebar can foul your knee, locking the steering, and your leg. Otherwise it is a fine machine, after a lifetime of interesting motorcycles.

I admit that that control unit under the bar is a waste of time. I will never use it myself. And I always park the bike on the centre stand, as that way you can start it and leave it to run and warm up a little while you put your kit on etc. So I have not had an issue with the side stand. (As you say, a Velcro strap is all it takes)

Hi Ray, I have had lots of bikes over the past 20 years. Many of them big bmws, including LT, k1300s, GS and GSA. Although I do love the big bikes (especially the twins) I just get so annoyed by the massive running costs. I spent 6 years on scooters commuting to London in my early 20’s, and I decided that a bigger scooter could be a solution. I have to say, I am loving it. I can highly recommend maxi scooters. 👍

Thanks Dean. I love my motorcycles but I can also appreciate the practicality of the maxi scooter for commuting and day to day errands. Those that have them appear to find them fun to ride too. I’m with you on costs. I’ve had a few litre bikes but now I stick to the midsize bikes as they are more economical to run (fuel & tires) and maintenance costs are lower.

Hi there, I ride a BMW r1200r roadster and this Honda forza 350……I actually prefer the Honda!lol. I’ve ridden big bikes for 40 years and this is my first scooter- don’t know why I didn’t buy one sooner! I’ve looked at the ADV, however the electric screen is SO useful on the Forza that the advantages of the ADV wouldn’t compensate for the terrific screen. The scooter is economical and fun to ride with just enough power to keep me happy. Hope this helps you make your decision - I definitely have not regretted my purchase!

Hi, Thanks for the compliment. I actually sold the Forza and is now replaced with a KTM 890 SMT ( brand new as of 3 weeks ago). The reason I bought the Forza qt the time, was that I wasn't totally sure how much I was still feeling the motor biking vibes, and wanted some thing cheap (ish) that would allow me to get out on 2 wheels. As it happened, I really loved that bike, but was craving the bigger bikes I am well versed with from my long biking career. This all said, I am missing the scooter already, and have my eye on the TMAX 560, and will likely get one next year to go along side the KTM.

I live in the netherlands and i have made a number of trips to the uk. That is 5 to 6 hours riding, with the ferry in the middle that breaks up the ride. I had no issues at all. Only thing i will say is that the fuel consumption is quite high if you max it out on the motor way. Better to stick to a more realistic 65 to 70 mph.

Thinking about one of these. But I have three questions. Firstly the seat height (780mm). I am 5 feet 6 inches/168cm. I am concerned that it will be a bit of a stretch getting my feet on the ground, especially with the wide seat. Secondly, some reviews have said the rear suspension is hard and non-adjustable. Is this so? I like a softer suspension. And thirdly is the info display hard to see in bright sunlight? It looks like it might be.
@Dean-does-Stuff-81
@Dean-does-Stuff-81 6 ай бұрын
1. You will need to test ride it for height. As it has such a wide seat that you may struggle to put your feet down. 2 the suspension isn't the best. You don't want it too soft. It is adjustable for compression on the rear. 3 The screen is excellent and always visible.

Tbh I am not sure it’s worth it. If you are talking about the occasional day trip, as long as the pre load is turned to the highest setting, and you ride with in the bikes capabilities, there really is no need. You have to remember that this bike isn’t really designed for 2 up touring. It is a daily commuter. If you plan to use it for big touring then I would look at the t max or the 750 Honda. My money would be on the t max. I haven’t seen any rear suspension upgrades that look to be a genuine upgrade, so you would need to look to finding a suspension specialist. Simply not worth the money to me…

You can buy Honda heated grips that are inter grated into the dash. But if you want heated seat then you will need to go after market. Actually, pretty easy to do that your self. You just need a staple gun to re fit the seat cover. The battery is right below the front of the seat, so would be super easy to wire it up and put a small switch down by the filler cap. @@Dean-does-Stuff-81 I do not have one. I am a English expat and live in Thailand. The PCX 150 looks very similar in design and is very popular with wealthier Thais. I do not like the riding position and the wheel base is too long and the turning circle is small so not much good for filtering through traffic in Bangkok. I would prefer a Honda Scoopy 110cc or Honda Click 125cc or Honda Wave in Thailand. Have a look at "Mo ToBike" on KZbin. I also have a Honda Rebel 500 which is good for my Thai secretary to ride because she is only 5 feet tall.

@@johntheaccountant5594 well, you have answered your own points really. This style of scooter is simply not good for what you want. I used to have gilera runner 125sp’s when I was younger. Nothing (accept the virgin bike taxi’s) could keep with me in the traffic. But the 350 Forza is not (in my opinion) a city basher. It is for the open road/ longer distance commuting and light touring. The keyless system is actually very good on this bike tbh. There are one or two bad bits, but I have to say, it’s one of the best motor bikes I have owned yet. And I have owned over 65 bikes. I love it 👍

@@Dean-does-Stuff-81 If we all liked and drove the same motorbike, life would be boring. I think for what you want in Holland, that Forza is ideal. I am nearly 60 and I am actually into simplicity now (no driving aides and electronic gizmos). The bikes I find desirable is the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Honda CRF300L (142,000 baht = £3,155 on the road), Honda 350 Royal Highness and if wealthy like the Honda CB1100 EX or RS for that smooth four. I would consider buying a Honda CB560R but don't like the stepped seat for pillion.

Hi Carol, I have a 32 inch inside leg. I wouldn't say I struggle with the height of the seat, but the issue with this type of bike is how wide the seat is. Because it is wide, it makes it harder to get your feet down. I would say at 29 inch, you may struggle to even get your tip toes down. It would be a case of having to bum shuffle to one side each time you stop. This said, because it is a twist and go, there are no foot controls to worry about, so in that case, you may manage. It would also be possible to have the seat customized, (just remove some of the foam and make a new cover.) Probably the answer would be a test ride. Good luck with getting some thing 👍

The top box is very well made. The Honda mount is very well constructed and fits well to the bike. The integrated keyless entry is also very well thought through. The box it’s self looks to be designed around in bike security and it does look like it would hold up to a considerable attack. The internal size and shape lends its self to having 2 full face helmets. But is well suited to carry all types of luggage. I would recommend it over any after market box. 👍

@@Dean-does-Stuff-81 Yeah, the 125cc honda forza is very popular. But for me i think it is not the best option if you want to practise for a full licence. Because the HF 125cc does not have a clutch that the rider needs to use. And the full licence test is done with bikes with clutch, where you have to change the gears yourself. I think this is why I see plenty of 125cc scooter owners that are still carrying an L plate on a renewable 2 year cbt licence 10 years later...
