Awesome video, step by step instructions. I'm replacing front bumper on my wife's 2008 Civic. I ordered bumper today and I'm going to paint it myself before I install it. A lot cheaper that way, base coat and clear coat. Thanks for the video, I love watching your videos their great.

Hey there. My Civic is missing some screws on the bottom of my front bumper. Are the metal screws with the washers the same ones you'd unscrewed from the sides (where the front wheel mud guard is @5:35 ?). Looking for cheap parts I can buy online given the whole C-19 thing. Thanks

Be careful/mindful some vehicles have about a tooth paste tube size, explosive cylinders, activated on impact to lessen impact of collision and or they just go off when cars are on fire... I may of missed it because I jumped around a bit, really just trying to figure out if there is a sensor in the front center area I should avoid when screwing on a front license plate (bumper doesn't have a preset place).

I need to do the same thing on my 2003 Civic EX MT, but the link you provided in the description doesn't work (I know the video is over a year old). Do you remember by any chance the brand name of the bumper, or perhaps the seller's name on the Amazon invoice? I did find some on eBay for less than $200 (pre-painted also), but they ship them folded believe it or not, lol. I can tell you also cleaned those foggy headlights after installing the new bumper cover. Beautiful front look! :) Fantastic presentation.

@@BigDog50001 Thank you very much for the reply and the links. This is weird: the description is exactly the same as the one I found on eBay, stating that the bumper cover is shipped folded. "This bumper is folded for the most economical shipping possible; this folding can cause minor imperfections. This is exactly what you get with anyone else selling painted parts." I will contact that seller and find out more. Thank you again for your help. I really appreciate it.

@@BigDog50001 Here is their reply: Hello, Yes this bumper get folded. We use an baby/ Talcum powder on the painted side to prevent any scratches during the shipping process(you can wipe it off easily with a dry T-Shirt). Next we bend the wings of the bumper gently inward and secure it with a foam wrap, then a paper wrap and then a plastic wrap. We also add a flex additive into the clear coat to prevent the cracking or chipping in the clear coat. You may see light stress marks on the area where it was folded, and slight scuffing if the carrier puts a heavier item on the bumper, and that may possibly cause a crease. My apologies that I don’t have any photos to show you, but this is exactly what you get with anyone else selling painted parts. Do rest assure we sell thousands of those bumpers folded a day and we have less than two percent damage issues folding the bumpers our way. Your bumper does not come in a premium ( non- folded) shipping method. For the warranty span of a 6 month warranty, If you do have any issues of cracking or chipping even in the clear coat, you would need to contact us. We will need proof of purchase, so be sure to print your eBay order and payment confirmation information and keep that in a safe spot. Thanks for the video. How do we specify the color of bumper we need? The link brings you to the bumper, says prepainted, but doesn't ask you the color code of the color.

I believe you have to tell them the paint code after the order.

Actually, the bumper doesn't look bad. Take it and push it back into place. Use a heat if needed to soften it up.
