I have had many of these and ended up giving this one to my grandfather for him to ride around town. It has been holding up very well besides having to fix the fuel tank venting issue. Has about 5k miles on it. It is all stock carb and exhaust. Personally all of mine have different exhaust and carbs but he likes quiet. I have a true Grom and a few clones. The grom is nice fit and finish and the fuel injection is nice, however if you are old school and can adjust carbs, I like the clones better for ease ability of tuning(Don't need to send ecm to get flashed for each mod). I wouldn't be afraid of either.

I have a black one exactly like this. I've had it for a couple of weeks and it's all still in the box with nothing touched, EXCEPT for the front wheel I pulled out. I'm not doing another thing to any of it until I put one of my two new Michelin tires on that front wheel, with new bearings. I also ordered a grom front axel. Assembly of the whole bike will proceed like this, and I expect it will take me a couple of months before the bike is ready start for the first time. I already have the 141cc kit.

On the very bottom of the carb bowl, you will see a small screw with a plastic line running down. Loosen this screw(make sure your gas is shut off of you will drain your tank) and it will drain the fuel in the bowl. Once it stops, tighten it and turn fuel back on.

There isn’t one for sale in the entire state of Colorado older than 2018. And guess what? As far as clones there are NONE. Not a single clone for sale. So people emitter don’t buy them which we know is not true or they don’t break as often as we think. And if you are good at building and working on motorcycles getting one of these clones is a cheaper/better option over a grom. A grom is definitely not $3000 better. You can put 5-600 dollars into a clone and be just as good.
