Most morden bikes these days focus more on the design from a appearance perspective than the rider perspective.
The Honda Highness CB350 is not an exception and so the handle at times feel short making the riding posture uncomfortable.
This video explains how the handlebar risers can help improve riding posture and comfort.

Excellent Analysis. Useful stuff. I also purchased the straight handle bar risers for my CB 350 RS and after installing it, I went on a 1000 kms ride last week. The risers helped in reducing back pain for me, but the pain did not go entirely. So this week I have ordered the inclined 'reach' handle bar risers and I hope this one is even better than the straight ones. I will know only when I install the new ones shortly. Also I found that the handling improved tremendously on my CB 350RS. I did not expect that and I felt that the money (Rs. 1050) I paid to Carbon Racing for the risers, was well worth it and therefore I purchased the angled risers now.

I found rust in a few places on my CB within less than a month of purchase; I always park my bike in shade or under cover from day one. Very very disappointed with Honda's paint job on this bike. The rust was all on the chassis, near the neck, under the tank, and seat bolt at the rear, got them the Topline service center to repaint the areas I could find, that too was a task, because their first attempt to repaint left out a few places, I got them to redo the re-painting and they replaced the seal bolt. The paint on the chassis, especially near the welding is not very good. I am assuming Honda just repainted the tank & body panels of their older stock H'ness and rebranded it as Anniversary edition, which is probably why the H'ness Anniversary edition has a higher chance of getting rust early on.

Another informative video. But I'm bit confused. Motovin77 is using the same risers, he's facing issues of some of the cables getting streched when handles are completely turned to right or left.
@RajkaGarage
@RajkaGarage 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro.. is Vinay using the straight ones or the Inclined one. Coz I was very particular about any strain on the cables, brake pipe and harness. And as you can see in the video, all the control cables and harness can easily accommodate the 1" riser. Especially the most critical is the clutch cable as any strain on the clutch cable will lead to clutch burn out and other subsequent issues and as you can see there is no strain on the clutch cable even after the hande is turned full left/right. I do have apprehensions about the inclined risers that they will put a lot of strain on the control cables and also due to the tilt back design of the riser, the handle switches will tilt downward.

If you notice, his handlebar is a bit more tilted towards the rider, and this probably is adding some strain on the cable when the handle is turned to extreme right. And, as long as there is no movement in the inner cable, it will not create any issue. Also just a practice (due to reliability issues of the clutch cables with the other 2 machine I use, RE and RX) I always change Clutch cables after every monsoon, regardless of the condition of the cable. Smooth clutch operations can save a lot of other things and adds to riding pleasure. Will be doing the same with H'ness too, though with a streched interval.

Yes, I am still using them and they have made my overall seating posture better, if not the best. I am using the straight ones which doesn't need any cable rerouting and hence no issues in that area. My Gear stucking while shifting down after emergency break? Any solution sir
@RajkaGarage
@RajkaGarage 3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, couple of factors: 1.how many kms have you completed on ODO? If it's less than 1500 kms and not even done 1st oil change. Its common for new gear boxes to be a little clunky especially from 3rd to 2nd as the gear dogs are not tuned with each other. If you see my very first video on the Hness when I took delivery and went to Pune from Mumbai, towards the end of that video, I was talking about the gears being little hard while shifting to 2nd and the time it will take a for the parts to settle with each other. 2. At times we get on the brakes suddenly and speed is killed abruptly. In such case it's very the Engine RPM is higher than the wheel speed and this tall variance in speed makes shifting hard. Also, just suggestion on oil change. Ask the SVC to use Honda Throttle Fully Synthetic 10W30 oil, if they are not doing it already. Coz some SVC are using 5W30 during free service. Both are recommended grades, but using 'Throttle' will make the gear shifting smooth. Hope this helps. Cheers and Happy Riding 🤘
