It's not the dropping of the plug but the initial gush of fluid that came out and hit the upper plastic guard. Thanks for watching.

Why are you filling it from under the vehcile? There is a plug in the top you can pour it right in with a funnel.

30K miles. You have to change it every 30K and the oil look just a bit darker than the new oil. No burning smell! Just slightly darker color.

this process most be do it with machine and car power on , for remove all oil at the transmision, on this way you remove only 40% old oil.
@MoBangFoYoBucks9 ай бұрын
You NEVER remove all of the transmission oil! You do that, then get ready to buy a new transmission.🤦♂️ I have seen too many people flush the trans and ruined a perfectly running transmission.

What size is the washer??
@MoBangFoYoBucks5 ай бұрын
Ask the dealer when you are there buying the original CVT oil. Or go to RockAuto.com look for it there. You can always sand it down completely flat again on both sides and re use it.

I looked up online as to how many quarts it takes to fill from empty and it said 10quarts after you empty and flush??
@MoBangFoYoBucks2 жыл бұрын
Not drain and fill! I checked the manual and you are not empty out the whole transmission. I even asked the Parts department as to how many I need.
@steelhanded112 жыл бұрын
@@MoBangFoYoBucks So i drain and just fill with 5qts like you did then???
@MoBangFoYoBucks2 жыл бұрын
Yes! Make sure that you warm up the engine and shifting through all the gears after you put in new oil. Then recheck the fill port to see if any over flow come out. Oil do expand when it is hot. So you want to make sure that you don't over filled it at OPERATING TEMPERATURE!!! This is a very important step!!!
@wolf19i7 Жыл бұрын
Some people do a drain and refill 2 times...
@MoBangFoYoBucks Жыл бұрын
Approach this method with caution! You might ruin the transmission that way. The residual trans oil have fine particles that give it the friction from wear and tear over the year!
