View from Dan's car: • Honda Integra and K20 ... Track day, April `19. Not on full push, but it was a lap without yellows and my PB from the TF start block. Done a skid. My editing skills are lacking.

Love your videos, I have a question. Where do DC5 owners from your side of the world usually go to get information or learn about parts for your car? You guys have more my interest than the DC5 owners here in USA. Is there a DC5 Integra forum? Social media groups?

Well google helps alot, but here in Europ there are good online shops for parts voor the dct type r. All4honda.nl or fullcartuning.nl

@@delsoljurgen thanks, unfortunately I guess because of my location my search results come up Acura RSX. So I can't find out popular Integra type R stuff

There are fb groups and the dc5 forum is apparently still going, although I've not been on there in a long time. As for information.. there are a few key players I trust, haha. Race teams are people who walk the walk and are normally the ones to trust. As I'm sure you know, there's a lot of chat on the internet from people who talk the talk.

@@kevtalbot137 yes definitely. It's just that here in USA. This isn't as popular. It's hard to meet other DC5 owners that do what you do which happens to be what I like to do. But it seems to be very popular over there. In your videos I see a lot of other DC5 and EP3s hitting the tracks. Here in the states DC5 and EP3 owners care about looks. Or turbo charger and run down our highways. What Facebook groups are popular on your side of the world?

facebook.com/groups/408207202995106 is a group dedicated to track work, there are plenty of guys your side of the pond who want the best from their chassis.

Nice lap 👌🏻 how you can go wot much longer in a k20 then the k24 before almost flying off track 😅 the steering seems very pointy in the front, 255 with fair amount toe-out?
@kevtalbot1374 жыл бұрын
Thanks man :) Haha, with less than 250hp and not much torque I have to leave it WOT for as long as I can! I would love to try a 300+ in this chassis, yours seems to fly although the weight is no doubt a little higher in the DC5. 255 with around 1mm total but it was with strings and not completely perfect. I like a pointy car, although sometimes I turn in too aggressively and it upsets the rear too much. You can see how much the rear moves around in the other video I updated, from Dan's car.

@@kevtalbot137 certainly did see it moving from dannys video 😬 I think mine is around 100kg lighter and yep 50 to 60 more horses, I got 245s now. The faster engine also has some surprises on its own haha, the car really needs a bit more stabilizing before cornering with this kind of chassis, so more coasting and higher gears in some parts to keep the grip.
@kevtalbot1374 жыл бұрын
@@kayhesse It doesn't feel like it moves that much from the drivers seat! 100kg lighter + 50/60 more horses are my excuses already loaded for why I wont reach your laptime in October haha. Did you have 245 in the recent video? I don't really like coasting, I have to be either on throttle or brake, sometimes partial throttle to keep the diff engaged.

Kev the rev

It's true, I've done some revs in my life. Once, I even put the pedal all the way down. Like.. all the way.
