Honda Jazz automatic Gearbox fault no drive fix

This video, we are fixing a Honda jazz Automatic that does not drive forward, only in reverse.
After various stages f diagnostics we found the gearbox speed sensor to be causing the fault - replaced and all back to normal.

When I shift it in Reverse Gear it blows fuse no. 3. I have tried to disconnect everything related but I can’t seem to find the cause. Where is the reverse light switch on a CVT gearbox? Any help welcome? Thanks.

Hi, sounds like the reverse switch could be faulty. Disconnect one thing at a time to see where your issue is. Example - remove the bulb - see if the switch blows end keep doing that till you find what is the cause!

Ah that’s annoying. I did say it’s not 100% Did you get a code read on the gearbox??

1,34-02(P0715) CVT Input Shaft (Drive Pulley) Speed Sensor Malfunction (this one comes up on mine) Ive got same issue. Reverse is working fine but drive is working intermittently and kind a feeling like slipping and sometimes not gonna work at all.

I did swap it out with the other sensor. But still the same.

If you leave the engine running in park, after 5/10 mins does it drive??

Yes, but it drive a little and sometimes the Drive is blinking. I bought the sensor to honda got it for $175 and gonna install it tomorrow.

I have replaced mine, still didnt work😢, after replacing sensor still doing the same thing. I got the parts from genuine honda. And after replacing it the code still comes up and no drive at all, i only hear spinning noise from transmission

Have you had diagnostics carried out?? It’s odd that reverse is drive. It could be the same issue with the sensor but get diagnostics done first

@@torqueautomotivebedford I diagnosed, changed oil fluid, swapped the speed sensor with another one is like the same located at the front of the transmission

But still exactly the same, doesn't go to reverse on the hills, however it drives smoothly forward on D

Got one it won't start and where it use to go into neutral and I could start now it just flashes so it won't go to neutral,no fault codes

You have a faulty gearbox speed sensor -
