Got myself a '85 V45 Magna last summer. 2K on the clock, still had her Dunlop Qualifiers on the rims. So brand new really. A true unicorn. New rubbers and fluids and sent her. Amazing and unique sound from the shaftdrive and that amazing V4.. Love it! Good luck reviving this little beast, keep her upright! Greets from the NL ✌️

@BigDreamsNoMoneyy yeah man I can imagine. Good call cleaning the carbs, shame they got damaged. Did you use a crowbar to push them upwards? Getting the carbs back on is a pain in itself. I'd suggest using a ratchet strap to pull it down evenly. Going to follow just to see the Sabre roar!

Yeah I couldn't get it any other way than a pry bar. I'm hoping the fresh carb boots and personal lubricant will do the trick to get them back in. I'm gonna be mortified if I have to take them out multiple times

@@BigDreamsNoMoneyy the carbs and valvetrain maintenance are the most cumbersome to do on these engines. If you get those done you'll be in the clear. These bikes are almost bulletproof, once they run they'll never let you down! It's lights out for me, 0.30AM over here.

@ new Braunfels texas! I actually have another KZbin channel. Called Project_marco with 4.5k subs I’ve been recording just an overview of the bike but dude there’s a lot wrong. Motor moves but stops after like half a turn. No battery wiring is messed up no brakes no throttle carbs need a rebuild no clutch cable or lever no ignition couls
