I am a returning rider after 43 years of not riding, had a number of bikes in late 70’s and 80’s..last bike, Yamaha RD250LC, until a drunk driver destroyed it and almost me….fast forward 43 years, 60th birthday present from wife, I bought a 2023 model of the NC750DCT….love it, I have added a centre stand, hand guards, engine bars, radiator protection, front fender extender and rear hugger…I ride on awful rubbish Jersey Island roads….use the rain mode in rain, standard mode most times and now and again drop into sports mode, however the manual shifting is a breeze, so easy to keep to speed limits without the DCT keep changing up and down….brakes good, seat is comfortable, screen is fine to be honest…..only gripe I have…why oh why are the right angled tyre valves angled on the side of the discs, both front and back, fiddly to access, surely mount them the other way around….tyres, well I have TT variant, fine to be honest….may look at different brand next time….this will be my only bike…..it just is brilliant.

Top video and just shows how much fun these bikes really are. Yes the sheer acceleration is not quite the same as a sports bike. But having traded my sports bike in for one of these 750 DCTs, I have never once felt I can’t keep up with the pack. If your thinking about it I hope this video has convinced you 👍

Recently got a CB500X last year, stuck with my A2. In spain you have to wait 2 years to get A license to use bigger bikes, and I know there is a lot of time to think it in 3 years, but I think I am going to give my bike for this upgrade after those 3 years. The more I see of it, the more I like it. Just like I said, tons of time to think about it and lets see new upgrades on this bike through 3 years, but oh man I love it and the DCT looks awesome to just chill riding!

I have ridden a Dct 2023 model this week and it was an amazing expirience! It shifts pretty fast what sometimes can give annoying vibrations.. but that is to forgive it. When you switch to sport mode the real character comes alive of the engine and it suprises you with a nice bulky sound like a v twin 😝

I've had my NC750x for almost two years and am finally getting used to it and appreciating it. You can have fun in the twisties on it but if you've been used to more powerful bikes, you need to be careful. It's got decent torque but the superb fuel economy comes at a cost. Trying a squirt of acceleration when travelling above 60 - 70 mph and there's simply nothing there. That's a steep learning curve when you've been used to it for the previous 40 years of riding.

Ja tive uma e o DCT realmente trabalha mto bem em modo "manual" as passagens de caixa são brutalmente rapidas e suaves, o único defeito que notei, mas penso que era um problema na minha mota é que a as vezes a caixa ficava desincronizada e tinha um delay nas passagens de caixa. Vendi o modelo DCT para grande pena minha, e acabei por comprar a normal.

Is this bike suitable for 188cm, 6.2? I know the best is to sit on it and ride, but my local honda dealer doesn't have this bike since released. You can order, of course, and get it within 3-4months, but I don't want to pay for it without trying first. And it's the same with all new models e.g rally300, Forza

Thank you for your comment mate! The NC750x is a great bike, the only "problem" for tall people is the wind protection, but can be solved with the bigger windscreen! The leg room for me with 178cm are fine. But as you said there is no better test than seat and test ride it💪

How does the DCT know to shift down before the curve? or you have a foot shifter? Because I don’t see your hands on the +/- paddles. Nevertheless amazing riding and scenery. Great video with exciting riding.I have one of these bikes.They are just great and cover so many bases.After riding DCT, changing gears with a clutch feels positively old fashioned and outdated.Don't care what the "purists" say.😊
