NC750X-DCT: The most practical bike you've never owned. Nobody likes them until they ride one....

I love mine. Fast enough, love the torque, love the riding position, love the dct and always looking forward to ride mine every weekend. Best bike I have ever had. ❤😊

@@birchwoodbiker All modes, especially on break in. I have found that it seems to shift smoother using the paddle shifters on the left handlebar, but mostly I ride it in sport mode with the DCT activated.

Very good video, you've answered a lot of questions I had about the NC750. Perfect angle on the chest cam, incidentally. Many tubers get this wrong. Very watchable😃

I’ve done the same, bar risers, I’ve changed the front springs at first service, different tyres at 4,500 miles. The rear spring is crashy, but so far , I can live with it. Mine is a manual, but I’ve had DCT on a VFR 1200 and I rate it. I enjoy my bike too, I’ve a Street 765R also, both different bikes and excellent at what they do. Good video

Hi, I just copied what Chris Moss recommended in the Knox You Tube video. I can’t remember what they called then, I know they came from Holland. They are progressive springs, when you hit a pothole, they recover quicker then the OEM springs. From memory about a hundred quid ish.

I never rated the DCT on the 1200VFR but it is perfect on the NC750....

Nice vid. Definitely seems to be a great bike. If it had the new 755 engine it would be an absolute peach.

Buy a Riderscan mirror for your windscreen. Makes the blind spots visible !

Sense you mentioned the mirrors stems do appear to be too close to you . I do think you are on to something. Push the stems toward the headlight and readjust the mirrors. Good luck, good review.

I’m loving my new DCT ! . You definitely influenced me a lot with your videos. There’s a very good suspense specialist near me in Cape Town, he is going soften up the front forks and he says the improvement will be very noticeable, he says he has done a few of them already. I will report back to you when the job is done. The hard ride is my only complaint.

Cheers Dave, before spending £500 + try progressive springs in the front and thinner oil, it will change the road handling, also I'm going to try and do a video on the Pre load on the rear shocker, what each adjustment feels like, but I do know like Mosey he had it all upgraded, but how hard are you going to ride the bike and what will be the main surface you ride on, Still enjoy it they are a fantastic bike BB👍👍👍

If Honda tuned this bike up a little with a slightly larger fuel capacity, and true cruise control the rest of the accessories could be added on.

When you were riding in the rain I noticed that you used your glove to clear water off of your helmets face shield which made me wonder if you have treated your helmet's face shield and the bikes windshield with a product like Rain-X. I live in Vancouver Canada where it rains a lot in the winter and I am sure to treat all of my vehicles with something like Rain-X which if you don't know about it,is a product that acts as a water repellant to shed water from your screens. It works really well once you are up to speed. Right after giving my screens a treatment it is just like it isn't even raining. In my opinion there is nothing as important when riding a motorcycle as having a clear and unimpeded view. For the cost of a couple of cups of coffee you can buy a squirt bottle of product and not have to treat your screens for a good while. I carry it with me at all times when riding. Other drivers have a way of not seeing a motorcycle when it is not raining and that goes up exponentially in the rain. All the more reason for bike riders to do everything they can when it is raining. I know that you care about your safety because of your mentioning the issue with your mirrors, but I thought that I would mention this other vision related issue nonetheless. Safe riding buddy and thanks for the video.

I've used rain x. It works well on my visor, but terrible on my Honda screen. The anti mist works well on the inside of the visor too. I find the honda screen is better with turtle wax polish. I do food delivery and just about to hit 50,000 miles on a 2021 SH125i. It's used in all weather and is fitted with Michelin City grip 2. The NC 750 is a bike I want in 2024, but may get the geared version.

Complains the mirrors don't cover blind spots, does only two shoulder checks / lifesavers (7:42, 10:31) in >15 minutes of (edited) urban / highway riding. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

I'm tall and light on a 2023 DCT and in a day of 60-ish MPH riding with traffic I get ~75-80 miles per US gallon. At lower cruising speeds, it'll get closer to 85-9090. *Worst* I have gotten on a tank is 69 / US gallon. I drive very laid back though.
