Honda NX 500 is better than Himalayan 452 and KTM 390 Adventure Rally

I have been using 2019 model honda cb500x for daily commuting and long distance touring in the Netherlands for past 7 months. Honda CB500X is well-suited for touring due to its comfortable ergonomics, reliable and efficient engine, good wind protection, and versatile suspension setup. It strikes a balance between performance and comfort, making it a reliable companion for both short trips and extended tours. I can easily cruise on long trips 130 km all day with sufficent amount of power left for overtaking. And i have done trips to germany alps with bigger companions sv650,moto morini 650 and few bigger engines. I can very easily cope up with them because of its versatile nature and linear torquey smooth engine.

I don't think you can compare it with the current KTM (Adv390) and Current RE Himalayan. Two different price points, two different engine categories. And RE and KTM is not a company to frown about. RE is one of the fastest developing brands now. Their engine is top notch atleast in quality standards. You can check Fortnine video for source and reference. KTM as a brand is winning in every space. So comparing bikes is a toxic trait in Motorcycling community. Frowned upon.

Indha vandi vikkadhu.. The real reason is there is no vehicle to Deliver. Only 2 NX 500 came to Chennai and there is no further imports as per the dealer. I booked in January and cancelled last week as per the suggestion of the dealer. Reason as per the dealer, Honda India is not getting imports from Thailand

We had a trip to Nepal with a few 1200 GS and one cb500, 170 km hardcore off road to mukthinath. Cb500 was the easiest, practical and most durable. The low slung exhaust did not have issues.

although its reliable , its not affordable . Honda superbikes are not common man cake.. Also its a tourer and not Adventurer so compared to ADV and Himalayan which is capable of both to a extend for the price point they sold is remarkable, anyone should appreciate they provide a affordable off road bikes for Indians.

Honda has stopped the delivery of this bike till Jan 2025, stating some import consignment problem. I had booked on February and after knowing this had to cancel deliberately. Heard many people have cancelled also. Now dealership also saying that possibly this bike will not release again. So please wait for the news about this bike before booking.

Bro that is impossible for any brand let alone Honda. Usually advs are 23-30k more expensive than their sports bike versions (like adv390 and duke 390 or ninja650 and versus 650). If this is what 3.5l then a cbr500 should be around 3lakh and u know what other sport bike is at 3l?? Apache rr310😂 now tell me if a cbr and rr310 are comparable?? This bike should have been price around 5-5.2l to be a market leader and that would have been enough
