get the honda rear panel it works great on keeping dust from rolling in .also to help cabin heat get you some cool it mat to go under the seat its night and day difference .

Take a look at the QYMOTO P700 Rear Windshield & Dust Stopper. Price is right and installs easily with velcro straps. Straps work best for me since I have a boat load of other items installed on the rear roll bar and can't use a zipper mount. Stowing is a snap, just roll it up and bungy it.

I test drove a pioneer 1000-5 today unknowingly in sport mode. Very rough shifting. Distracting to say the least. 700-4 doesn’t have sport mode. How does the shifting feel? We are shopping 700-4’s currently. No turf mode and BOTH rear wheels driving are probably cause it to push through corners. Is that what you are referring to? Great review! J

Pretty much. The big thing to remember is how much cheaper the pioneer is over other machines and that it's a gear to gear transmission, not a belt drive. Belt drives are much smoother but more maintenance.

@@MakingNoise45 reviews state that a lot of heat comes up through the cabin area. Do you get that? If so how bad is it?

Yes, the cabin gets hot. Any mid engine sxs will have that problem. I did a video on my way to help with that. I put a full glass windshield on mine, and that makes the hot cabin much worse. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish I would have done a split windshield, and the hot cabin wouldn't be a problem. The other problem with not having a split windshield is that it pulls a lot of dust back into the cabin, so a rear windows or screen is needed. Please subscribe and look up my other videos.

@@MakingNoise45 the heat is tolerable or overpowering? I think I’ve decided on the 700-4 and I know I am buying a hot cabin. I guess maybe I should rent one for a weekend and try it out. See if I can tolerate the heat with little kids in the back. I don’t really want to get down a trail and cook my kids.

@bucknutz2879 Google said 45 mph, but mine only makes it to 42 mph. My biggest complaint is the speed. If you need speed/want speed, go with the 1000cc

@@MakingNoise45 i've been looking at the yanaha X2. I really don't want to apend 20k+ on somthing. I like the honda's just not sure the 700 has enough of top end. kinda stinks, 35 mph is plenty fast for me and if it's get enough nuts to hit a few minor hills on the trails, i'd be good. I just don't want to be the guy pissing everyone off when i road ride. i need 50 mph abd i'd be good.
