Thank you for your comment! I think that it is no problem,because Japanese atmosphere isn’t dusty. My Toyota Celica had no filter longer than 20years also, and it was no problem. But please don’t forget that it depends on each place.

What kind of paint did you use to paint the wheels ? Is the paint peeling off the rims?

Thank you for your question. The wheels were painted with urethane paint. As you pointed out, the paint peeled off when installing the tire. So I touched up after work. If you don't want it to peel off, I think it's better to use powder coating or black anodized rims. Thanks!

That is such a great build. One question about the wheels, did you have to go a size up to fit the bigger tires or are these the stock rims with just paint ? I'm thinking about installing Duro classics on mine but I'm not sure the back wheel will fit with the stock fender. Anyways, love the bike and thank you for documenting all the process. Thank you for your comment! Yes,the rims were the stock. I just painted them. The rear fender was 4inch wide flat type,and tire size was 5.00-15. I think that the tire size is no problem for the stock fender. I’m interested in that you are in Switzerland. Is Reble popular in your country? Einen schoenen Freitag!!

@@kensvlog49ers thank you so much for taking the time to reply. コメントをありがとう! i'll try and source some duro tires for it. as for the rebel in switzerland, it's not a very popular bike and thus very cheap to find. I like it a lot since it's easy to work on and to find parts for it. Mine was left sitting in a outside for more than seven years, but with a little bit of care it's now back on the road. The tires are a bit dry, which is why I'm looking for a replacement.

What type of tires are there ?

Thanks for your question. The tires are Duro Classic. The size for front is 4.00-18, and for rear is 5.00-15. But I don’t make sure,that you can buy it in your location, because the tire is ordered to the Duro by japanese bike shop.

@@kensvlog49ers want to ask another question, that is the gb250 front fork right? in case that I couldn't find any similar fork to gb250, i should probably shorten the fork by cutting it using stock fork, but how much cm should I cut my front fork to have a similar look like this?

Yes, that's right. I set up inner fork of GB250 and bottom case of Rebel. The length of GB250 is 60mm shorter than Rebels. Both bottom cases are quite same length. If you shorten it 60mm, it would be same dimension as mine.
