Navigation is only vocal… I thought the app can display directly on the screen, so useless to see a big green square on the Dashboard without any arrows indications in it… Later update ???

I agree. Its pretty useless, if you can't hear anything on higher speeds or you're during a call on slower pace and missed a notification. Arrow's always up. Whoever designed this user experience must have not ridden the motorcycle.

you need to choose "detailed reading aloud" in voice guidance parameter in the honda roadsync app

Guys, it has been updated. You can now see the navigation hints on the motorcycle display. The GPS doesn't have to be mounted on the handlebar anymore, which is great since the micro USB port is located under the passenger seat and you had to pull the cable all the way up to the handlebar.

I have the same CB1000 Black Edition model but I haven't used the app yet. Looking forward to doing it but from what I see, there will be no navigation hints on the display, only the voice commands via the headset. Too bad, Honda could have put at least direction hints on the LCD.

@@N0kJAA yeah it is cool cause you don't need to mount the GPS on the handlebar anymore. Other thing is, it would be nice if they implemented voice guidance via the headset. Currently you can only check the next hint and only by forcing the device to tell you. It should be automatic.

@@zniesmaczony They actually do 👍🏾. Just came back from a quick 2hr ride and it works perfectly. Navigation seems to me integrated (by default 🤔) with Google Maps (or...is it because I have Google Maps as my default Nav Android App?)...I much prefer TomTom's GoRide App & I used GoRide on the way back. Much less talking and it offers more options to make your journeys more fun 😊. Recap: FULL Turn-by-Turn instructions ✅

It would be more functional if the navigation works with app like Waze, messager app like whatsapp & telegram, phone music player etc. Essentally, having function like carplay/android auto like what we have in my cars instead of a big screen with minimum useful function
