Great vid, feels like actually driving it. SH 150 is great scooter, the 25cc on top certainly show. My Kymco People GT 125 will be replaced soon, I'm also considering SH 350 or Vespa GTS 300, but the SH 150 is actually sufficient for basically everything and would save me a ton of money.

i have a 2011 sh300i since 2012 with 73000km. Coming from a pcx125 it was a world of difference. The 300/350 pulls like a train till 145kmh and goes up steep hills at 120kmh without even trying...if you are carefull with wrist, 3,3l/100km perfectly doable

@@farmoboy83 Thank you for your answer. I believe that there could be a big difference between a PCX125 and an SH300. But SH150 is a different bike. It already has about 34 percent more power than SH125 or PCX125 and can go uphill at 95-100kmh. Therefore I am curious about the difference between 150 and 350. I know that a 350i must be more powerful (12,4kW vs 21,5kW). On the other hand, it has a higher fuel consumption and it weights almost 40kg more than an SH150. And of course an SH350i is more expensive. All things considered, I still do not know whether there is a considerable increase in power and acceleration and if it is worth spending extra money on it. That means selling my SH150 and buying a 350i. If I am careful with my wrist I can do around 1,6-1,7l/100km in town and 1,8-2,0l/100km on a trip.

@@ITFyvorus sh300i is 170kg and double the power of 150i. Also, more power means more relaxed riding and less engine stress which usually means mor durability. Also, extra torq means you can carry a pillion and performance suffers a lot less than in a less powerfull scooter. If it is enough only you and your riding can decide. If you use it only to commute and highways are avoided, the sh150 makes more sense and is cheaper and more economical. If you carry a pilion frequently and have to use roads of 110kmh plus speeds for several kms, then 350 is the best choice

@@farmoboy83 Thank you. I usually ride alone, mainly in our town. Once or twice a month, I go for a trip but I avoid highways. Honestly, I do not know why is this 350i bothering me nowadays. It might be because I had a 500cc motorbike for 3 years and I sold it because I did not use it much. It was not very practical in a city. My SH150 is frequently used. It is very convenient to ride in a city but sometimes while on a trip, I would appreciate if it had more power. Having ridden a 500cc bike, I do not know whether even an SH350 could deliver the amount of power I would expect from it.

@@ITFyvorus i have a sh300i, had a cbf500, a bandit 1200 and now a sv650 from 2004. Sh300i is the fastest and more practical 2wheeled vehicle i ever had for the use i give it (commute, city riding and even motorway 100km plus trips). It accelerates as fast as any powerful bike at traffic lights due to cvt instant power and considerable low weight while keeps all the practicality of a scooter. Never ride it for pleasure nowadays (a sv650 is obviously a better riding experience) but for commuting and everything its simply the best. If i were you i would keep the 150 since is enough for use and maybe, if the money is available, buy a second hand cheap motorbike for riding pleasure and manual gear changes.

This is an excellent bike to ride, the first scooter I've ever had having come from big bikes before. It's like a scooter/motorcycle hybrid and is very comfortable & economical (120 MPG around town). Enough power and acceleration to beat most cars away from the lights. BUT... I'd really like to know why the EMS/ECU doesn't power off the ignition when you stop and forget to turn it off (which I have done several times). The fact the side stand is down cuts out the engine but doesn't switch off the ignition really puzzles me. If you turn the dial one step anticlockwise (seat lock) it powers off after a few seconds, but on the side stand the lights stay off - one flat battery, and a long push to the repair shop.

Do you have some modification in the trasmission o rev limiter? I have the 2024 version and the rev limiter cut engine at 130 km/h (120 km/h gps), in yours looks like the rev limiter gets on @134 km/h

Übrigens: Sowohl mein SH 300 (2018) als auch SH 350 (2021) fahren, leicht bergab, bei Tacho 160 Km/h in den Begrenzer. Der SH 350 hat eine etwas bessere Beschleunigung, besseren Sound und 0,3 L höheren Verbrauch. Ein Wolf im Schafspelz! War damit schon 2x mit anderen Motorrädern im Elsass ... Für kurze Strecken und Stadtverkehr hatte ich früher mal eine 125er Aprillia 😄. Mehr braucht man eigentlich nicht, um Spaß zu haben.

Well, yes you can reach that speed but not in a safe way for sure... Actually a good speed you can still handle it is about 100/110, not more. Note, I have the same scooter, but i also drive motorbikes.

Interessant mal einem potentiellen Organspender bei der Arbeit zuzuschauen. Mit dem Fahrstil wirst du jedenfalls nicht alt und wirst noch vielen Autofahrern auf den Sack gehen. Der Roller selber ist ok, hätte nicht gedacht wieviel 25 ccm ausmachen im Gegensatz zum 125 ziger Honda SH. 100 km/h auf der Autobahn ohne den Motor auszuquetschen ist schon eine Überlegung wert zum umsteigen vom 125 ziger auf den 150 ziger.

Die Griechische Autofahrern sind daran gewöhnt und nicht aggressiv eiversüchtig wie die Deutschen und Dänischen Autofahrern, die finden, dass auch die Motorradfahrern im Stau halten muss, obwohl reichlich Platz zwischen den Dosen für Fortfahren ist.

Ich habe mir dieses Jahr gleich die SH 350 er zugelegt und bin rund 4000 km damit gefahren. Die geht echt ab. Spielerisches Handling. Man kommt sich vor wie auf einem Fahrrad. Laut Tacho bin ich schon 155 km/h gefahren. Werden aber bestimmt echte 140 km/h sein. Im Frühjahr werde ich damit nach Tiszafüred in Ungarn fahren. 😀

@@erik_dk842es ist ein Unterschied ob ich mich mit mäßigem Tempo bei Stau hindurchschlängle oder ob ich mit Vollgas bei fließendem Verkehr einfach zwischen den Autos durchfahre wie es in dem Video zu sehen war. Das hat nichts mit Neid zu tun es ist einfach nur für alle Beteiligten gefährlich. Es muss nur ein einziger Autofahrer nicht treu der Fahrlinie sein oder ohne Schulterblick einen Fahrstreifenwechsel durchführen und schon ist man unter den Rädern oder man bleibt am Seitenspiegel hängen und wird vom nachfolgenden Verkehr überfahren.

Wenn man genügend schneller fährt, stehen die Dosen quasi still. Nur dänische und deutsche neidische Autofahrer neigen dazu, scharfe und plötzliche Manöver zu machen, um das Motorrad von der Straße zu drängen, und leider haben sie gesetzliche Unterstützung dafür, da die natürliche Nutzung des Raums durch Motorradfahrer hier illegal ist.

A pokud se řidič neohlédne při změně jízdního pruhu, to se může stát kdykoliv, to by člověk nesměl na motorce raději jezdit. Já měl havárii, když mi řidič nedal přednost při jízdě po hlavní silnici. Co z toho plyne?

Judging by this video, to me SH150 seems to have better acceleration and top speed. Moreover, it consumes less fuel and has ABS. On the other hand, I have read that SR GR has almost the best chassis and suspension among scooters. I own an SH150 (2022) and would like to compare with SR GT 200

Not a great fan of riding between traffic at speeds of 80 kph and above. There is a very real possibility that either side driver will deviate in their lane, just as you are beside them. Way too dangerous, as I've seen it happen, and the end result was not pretty, lemme tell you. When you're out on the open freeway, and traffic in front is flowing smoothly, just remain in the center of the lane and go with the flow. *BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY* Thanks for sharing, ride safe...

Do you have experience riding in Greece? I bet not. Clearly the Greek car drivers know that they can't just flow between lanes, because the scooters and bikes pass them on both sides. The riders are not holding the car drivers back in any way.

Eric, I made no mention of car drivers driving between lanes. My reference pertained to motorcyclist riding at speeds of 80 kilometers an hour and above between cars/trucks/buses on a two lane divided highway, where said vehicles drivers will deviate within their lane. Let's face facts, we all drift within our lanes, as one cannot remain a set distance from the center line for the entire journey. The accident I and several other drivers witnessed, was a H D rider who blasted between us in excess of 100km/h in a 100 km/h posted limit,and several cars ahead, got sandwiched between two large vehicles, where one had deviated a little. At the speed he was going, he had no time to react, and as mentioned earlier, it was not a pretty sight to behold. His life was snuffed out that day under the rear tyres of a petrol tanker. No, I haven't been to Greece, but having moved from Australia to the Philippines 12 months ago, I can tell you that here the traffic handbook has long since been thrown out. I'd say the Phils is second only to Vietnam for the number of motorcycles and scooters. It's a case where the locals make their own rules, like riding at night with no headlights, rear taillights of many colors, and quite a lot of unregistered vehicles thrown into the mix as well. Filipinos are lovely people, making you feel welcome, but once they hit the road, it's like it's everyone for themselves, as road courtesy appears non existent to the majority. The one thing that truly bothers me, is how a family of five on a 125 cc motor scooter, can naively subject their children and themselves to such danger, where Mum is cradling a baby with both arms only weeks old, and all with no head protection, and no adequate footwear. @@davidhamilton506 Watching videos from Italy and Greece, it's clear to me that the drivers are fully aware that the space sideways between cars "belong" to 2-wheeled traffic, and they keep their position. Here in Denmark, the utterly stupid traffic law says to the effect of: "If there's not sufficient space for a car, it's considred reckless driving, if a motoryclists takes advantage of his vehicle being much narrower". So filtering betwen a line of standing cars to get in front at a traffic light will cost us one point of only three in total on our license. South East Asia is a different kettle of fish.

Hello Erik, in my home country, Australia, filtering between traffic stopped at traffic lights is allowed, but try doing that with traffic on the move, and that will attract a big fine and loss of maybe 6 demerit points off your licence. Australia uses a 12 demerit points system, with an average speeding fine of less than 15Ks over the posted limit attracting a 3 demerit points loss. Exceed any posted limit by 40 km/h and above, then it's an automatic loss of licence, vehicle seized and impounded for 30 days and a huge fee to have it released. In Australia, on our Highways and Freeways, we also employ point to point speeding cameras, mounted to an overhead Gantry, that snaps your front number plate just as you pass under. The posted limit will be either 100 or 110 km/h, and 30 to 50 Ks further on, you'll pass under another Gantry that snaps the front number plate. Now, if in between the two you exceed the posted limit for say, five minutes or more, breezing along at 140km/h, then slow to 100km/h as you pass under the second one, then expect to find a speeding fine in the mail some three weeks later. The two photos taken are time and date stamped, and the distance between the two Gantries at either 100 or 110 km/h takes X amount of time. By exceeding the limit, you arrive too early at the second Gantry, hence the fine in the mail. They can be defeated, simply by pulling over and stopping for 15 minutes or so before proceeding on, thereby arriving a lot later at the second Gantry. The only risk would be to be caught on radar by a roving Highway Patrol vehicle if exceeding the posted limit. Apologies for my long winded reply.Cheers...

I ride in Greece however, being used to the country roads where I do most of my driving, this whole filtering business makes me uneasy. I will do it when cars are stopped, I will do it when I can pass with a reasonable speed differential but as soon as traffic hits 50 km/h I stay in line. When I go to the city the local drivers who are used to this give me the "what's the matter country boy" look when I hesitate.

That's Honda's ever lying speedometers' fault. And the EU stupidly allowing them, or actually forcing them to do so. Showing 115 at actual 100 (+10%+5km/h) is legal, showing 99 at actual 100 is a big no no.
