Bhai, yesterday i test rode both SP160 & UNICORN. i am a family man, j was looking for soft suspensions bikes with large pillon space for ladies. Recently i sold yamaha fzs v4 for its uncomfortable pillion space & stiff suspension. So what i found during test ride was, SP 160 got stiff suspensions & handle bar is uncomfortable. Wheras UNICORN was with soft suspensions & relaxed handle bars, also comfortable space for ladies behind. Any given day unicorn is most practical indian bike.

Yes, you are right. SP 160 is slightly on the sportier side, it is made like that, it has stiff rear suspension so that you can feel the road, and handlebar is also set like apache bike. Unicorn is truly a Indian family bike it can go anywhere from bad rural roads to highways. And comfort is its top priority. 🙂 subscribe

​@@MOHITEMS i am also confused between these two. I didn't take test ride, i just sit on both the bike. My initial observations are 1) tank of sp160 is a bit long thats why my hand are fully stretched where as in unicorn i don't need to stretch my hands( a bit more comfortable) , 2) pillian seat is like a stiff hill in sp160, so whenever i break pillian will slide down. 3) as i am not much experienced so don't know about mono suspension stiff or not, 4) headlight is better than unicorn, 5) build quality i think is better in unicorn. As i need a family bike with a bit modern looks i think its better for my 173cm height.

You can purchase SP 160 if you want modern looks, sp is not as comfortable as unicorn but lookwise and feature wise it outperforms unicorn. Also if you compare it with other bikes in this segment like apache RTR 2v/4v, pulsar N160 or N150, hero xtreme 160. SP 160 is most comfortable among these. 🙂 subscribe

Namaskar Bhai Sahab. Aap ne Video mein Ye kahaa hai Ki Both the Tyres are Radial. I'm afraid, SP160 Gives Tubeless Tyres, but they're not Radial Tyres. Please kindly check-up and Clarify this aspect. Thank You - Prasad readdy

For long ride which is comfortable unicorn or sp160?

For long ride unicorn is more comfortable due to its full upright seating style and straight set handlebar. Sp 160 is slightly sporty, but not super uncomfortable like other sports bike you have to get used to it, in initial days you will feel some pain in your wrist and palm, but after sometime the pain will go away and sp 160 will also become comfortable for you. I have also done 80 to 100 km long ride in single run with sp 160 recently and not felt anything. The point is that unicorn is comfortable from day one, but sp 160 will take some time. 🙂 subscribe

It depends on your age and needs, if you are young person then sp 160 will be better for you as it has digital display, modern design, better light setup, wide rear tyre for fun riding, On the other hand unicorn has old school design, analog instrument cluster and slim rear tyre, Engine wise and size wise both the bike are almost of same nature. And another deciding factor will be riding condition if you are planning to ride the bike in rural areas then unicorn will be better as it has better build quality and metal fuel tank, For city and highway riding sp 160 is best. Unicorn comfortable aur family bike hai, agar aapko piche mummy, papa ya ladies ko jyada bithana hai to Unicorn jyada sahi hai kyuki rear seat ka comfort unicorn me jyada hai soft suspension or slim tyre ke wajah se. Wahi sp160 ek all rounder hai, ye sports aur family bike ka combination hai. Aur sports bike utna comfortable to nahi hota hai, par agar aapko bike ko thoda speed me chalana hai, aur aapko sporty look chahiye to SP160 best hai. Bike riding experience sp 160 ka jyada aacha kyuki isme aapko jyada aacha handling milta hai, ye bike jyada lean ho sakta hai, aur pickup bhi sp 160 la jyada aacha hai. Isme aapko wide rear tyre, digital display, led headlight aur modern design mil jata hai. Mujhe to Unicorn ka design or features bhi personally pasand nahi hai, pura outdated bike hai, comfort ke aalawa usme kuch aacha nahi hai. Isliye hi to humne khud sp 160 ko kharida hai. 🙂 subscribe

Kuch document ya rain coat rakhna hai, toh kya isme chota koi bag ya box ko laga sakte hai? Maine personally dekha nahi hai, issiliye puch raha hu. Aur maine Unicorn aur SP 160 dono ko chalakar dekha, Unicorn se SP 160 me thora sa, ekdam thora sa jhukhkar baithna hota hai. Mainly Mera ghar se office aur office se ghar ka hi Jana ana hota hai, kabhi kabhi weekend me thora dur ja sakte hai, pillion ko lekar,toh isme kya back pain hone ka chance ho sakta hai? Aur agar aapka koi jannewala hai, toh puch kar ekbar confirm kijiniyega k side me chota koi box laga sakte hai ya nahi aur agar lagata hu toh pillion ko baithne me koi dikkat toh nahi ayega??

Sp 160 pe is person ne side bag lagaya hai, ye reel dekh legiye - instagram.com/reel/C88SFBay7uN/?igsh=MXZnN3pscDhsd2tyNA== Aur long rides me aisa koi back pain nahi hota hai, hum khud hi is bike ko 70 to 80 kms ke long ride pe leke ja chuke hai, par koi bhi back pain nahi hua. Ha, unicorn ke comparison me bas halka sa hi jhuk ke baithna hai, usse bas ye fark aata hai ki heavy traffic me chalane pe palms pe thoda sa pressure aata hai, to hatho me thoda pain hota hai, par ab 3 months se jyada chalane ke bad aadat ho gaya hai aur ab pain nahi hota hai. Bike chalte rahe to palms pe koi bhi pressure nahi aata hai.

Unicorn vs sp 160,which is better for back pain issue?

Unicorn is good for back pain issue as it has more relaxed seating position and softer suspension setup. SP 160 has slightly aggressive seating position and its rear shocker is also stiff which will cause back pain in long run. 🙂 subscribe

All other gears like 3rd, 4th and 5th are perfect, and shifting from 1st to neutral, neutral to 2nd is also perfect. Problem only occurs while shifting from first to 2nd or second to first. Neutral comes most of the times. 🙂 subscribe

Please check in detail, Engine of unicorn 160 has silver cuts on fins which gives it retro design, whereas sp 160 and x blade's engines are completely black painted, plus the power figure of unicorn and sp 160 is also very different. Check the torque and power online. The power and torque figures of sp 160 is very similar to what x blade produce, and the design of engine cowl, and engine of sp 160 is also similar to x blade, And one major point is that honda has completely discontinued x blade after launching sp 160. And now you can't buy x blade, it is not available in showrooms only old stock is available for sale. 🙂 subscribe
