Honda Super Cub 125cc adventure trip to the Outer Hebrides, Scotland.
Started in Falkirk then onto Oban, Barra, South Uist, North Uist, Harris, Stornoway, Isle of Skye, Fort William, Glencoe, then back to Falkirk.
700 miles round trip in June 2023.

What a pleasant change! A Brilliantly put together video... no silliness, foul language or trying too hard. This was a properly filmed motorbike adventure with superb and interesting footage with well chosen music and I absolutely loved it. It's not a scooter, the cub bikes have manual gears therefore classed officially as a motorcycle. Although all bikes are motorcycles anyway lol.

When I had my anf125 which I did 77k miles on, the Bain was the chain, despite the guard. Was always getting seized links and requiring constant adjustment. A seized link could reduce top speed to 30 tookme a while to fathom, thought my brakes were sticking. Always ha 2 chains one on the bike the other soaking in paraffin. Great vlog perhaps a little commentary and info on the bikes? Cruising speed and mpg etc?

Greetings fellow Cubbers, is it possible to attain information regarding the nice looking setup of saddlebags & the rack holding those bags orderly at Minute 05:24? I already have a nice chrome center rack with a little tankbag that fits nicely & fullfills daily duties for commuting to work. but for a weekender saddle bags sure are handy. If you dont mind, i will now continue enjoying the scenery & soundtrack of your roundtrip, thanks for sharing!

Hi, my friend bought the bike used and had these bags/frame on the bike when he purchased it. The panniers are bicycle bags and are called ARKEL, not sure who makes the frame though, hope this helps a bit. Thanks. arkel.ca/collections/bike-panniers/products/orca-panniers

Every 100 miles (180 kilometers approx) but I sometimes carry spare fuel bottle which will give me same again on miles.

Hello my friend, nice video! I'm about to buy a Honda Cub or a Vespa Gts, but the Vespa is very expensive and has small wheels. But in Germany you can only get Honda in matt black and no accessories. What is your opinion on the Honda Cub? I'm 1.84 tall

@@Kurt-d6c Hi, thanks for your comments. I get a sore back with small scooter wheels, but the cub wheels being bigger makes a big difference and get a smoother ride. New cubs only come in black at the moment unless you purchase an older model. Accessories you can get plenty from overseas or try eBay. The cub is fantastic value for money, the cost of running the bike and maintaining it is tiny compared to larger cc bikes. I'm sure wherever you get, you will be happy, and have many smile miles. Hi, Thanks for your feedback, glad you liked it. I don't think you will get a Honda Cub for hire, you can't even get a Honda Cub for demo, even if you wish to buy one, which is sad. You can hire Royal enfields from Saltire motorcycles in Edinburgh, but not sure how much this would cost, but won't be cheap. Good luck, cheers

Some narration would have made it far more enjoyable, why you went ? How the bikes did ? How tiring it was ? Why you went where you went etc. If this was one of a series of journeys you'd made etc.
