Love this product. Great design and works as promised. When I installed mine I did not remove the fender. I simply used a sawzall to cut the factory snorkel out in pieces after I cut out the hole for the face plate. There's really no need to remove the fender.

There should be some kind of screen built into that aluminum face plate. Just a thought.

The oem air inlet/scoop on the side of the machine actually scoops the dirty air and when the talon is stock it traps all of that and swirls it around into the snorkle... with our pass thru design it allows alot of that to go thru and out the back allowing hot air to exit. We have thought about doing what you say on the inlets and on our cover... maybe soon!

Come on man, that's at least a $100 filter and a $100 silicone elbow. They throw in the face plate and hose clamps for free ( except the stock one you need to re-use) 🤣🤣🤣
