Fwiw, in the first 2000klms on mine, fuel consumption at the open road speed limit is 3.5l/100klms, flogging it, 4litres/100klms. So minimum 400klms to a tank.

Just to add to the above. The computer reads a little high. When it indicates 3.8L/100klms, actual use is 3.5. Now with 3000klms on it, it's using between a real 3.1L/100klms at the posted limit, to a real 3.8L/100klms when getting into it a bit. As in 7 grand every gear. Last ride was 325klms. Used 11.5 litres. It was a very spirited ride sitting at $1.20 to $1.30 in metric money. I'm also talking real velocity, not what the playschool clock is telling me. Pretty impressive economy for a 750cc engine.

Thanx for this review allthough not very critical. Refreshing to finally have a rider beeing able to speak & still keep both hands on the handlebar 👍 The legend has finally returned!! Been a very long wait. Was able to test ride this beauty here in Scandinavia. Note! (Am the current owner of Transalp 650 2005 model with 100,000km on the clock)TA 750 probably the best TA yet. Overall a pleasing expirience. Not perfect but Adequat. More positives than negatives. Pros: Fun, Nimble, Agile, Handling, Ergonomics, Comfortable, Enough Power, Engine & Sound, Gearbox, 21/18 inch wheels, Seems like quality plastics, Fully LED lights, Robust Suspension, Enough Electronics, Apperence, Plenty Of Accesory Options, 6speed, Low weight, Accessable Seatheight, Adequat Ground Clearence & Adequat Suspension Travel, Self Cancelling Blinkers, Blinkers As Extra Lights & Emergency Break Lights. Cons: Totally Naked Out Of The Box, Starting price in my country: 12322GBP plus registration. Final price with all needed extras approx: 15500GBP, No Easy Airfilter Access (Its Under The Tank), No Air Temprature Indicator, Low Muffler, Sump Lump, Welded Subframe, No Easy Adjustable suspension, No Adjustable Windscreen, No Adjustable Front Fender, No Gps Mounting Bar, No spring loaded gear & break lever, Headlight Design & No Wingbadge. Cruise Control & Tubeless can be added but will further increase the cost. Conclusion: Will Keep My TA 650 with all nessary accesories & improvments done slowly in My ownership for 10 good year. Would probably consider AT 1000 2016-2019. Lower cost & better bike. The Power Of Dreams ❤

That bike is LOADED with extras. The protection bars, fog lights, hand guards, metal foot pegs, radiator guard etc maybe even the centre stand and an optional quick shifter. That would bump the price up to over £11,750!

The 21" front wheel and a chain would put me off, but in it's favour it does look typically Honda build quality wise so if you're after that type of bike it's worth a test ride. I wouldn't buy any bike with matt paint though as from experience once marked (which was easily done on my GS) you can't then correct the damage. In my case after a successful warranty claim I had PPF fitted on my bike to prevent the paint getting scratched again, so this is worth bearing in mind when you choose the colour/finish.

It was ok for me. Seats, in my view, are a personal experience. My advice is to take one out for a good ride to give you an idea. I owned RT1250 a few yrs ago and looked comfy, but after a few hours, it was hell. So, looks can be deceiving, pal 👍👍

I really had high hopes for this bike but sadly once again Honda have not made it much more accessible than the Africa Twin to us shorter riders so it was not to be for me and the 500x was a nice bike but 47bhp is just not enough for my liking so this would have been a potential replacement. Your comment about the comfort seat was funny Paul that really grinds my gears do they deliberately choose to put on a worse seat just so they can sell you the comfort seat ? If they know they can make a better seat then why is it not on the bike to begin with ?
