Honda TRX400ex/YZ426F flat track racing quad build - "A genuine Underdog contender!"

This swap is pretty straightforward and I'm by no means the first person to do this swap, but this is how I built mine. Getting all the parts and making everything work together took some time. The multiple engine related issues also took some time and a good chunk of $$$$ My goal with the build, given my means was to either use parts I had laying around, or parts that I was able to find for a bargain. It's definitely a Frankenstein quad, but "Hope" has always been good to me. So I figured I'd return the favor with some (updates) this past season. if you would like me to make a future video on any specific part of how I built it, let me know in the comments.

What did you do for mounts

For the front mount I just made a cardboard template and space the engine about 5/8 of an inch off the frame. For the rear swingarm I use the stock Honda bolt And once it was through one side of the frame I inserted 1mm thick c-clip spacers to make up the difference between the rear swing arm bolt & mount bore's. Honda - 16mm Yamaha - 18mm. So I used 1mm thick split spacers, aka Hillard go kart clutch springs. Reason why I used them, is I could insert multiple split spacers as I was going in with the swingarm bolt & through the engine. I also added spacers accordingly, for the chain alignment.

I dont use the upper "Head" mount. I only use the quad for flat track racing. If I were using the quad for tt course racing I would probably add an upper cylinder head mount.
